Hi ladies,

I was wondering will it sound not so nice if I were to start asking the SAs in how to get a k/b in stores since it seems to me that different people have varying experiences for their 1st bag.
Perhaps it’s not necessary to ask outright. I would suggest you say to your SA at some point that you would love a “design” bag in “size ” “colour group” and take it from there. It’s pretty clear that some spend is required in Singapore so take your cues from the items your SA shows you/ mentions. That’s the path the SM has set for customers to be offered something special at that particular store. Good luck.

I do have a profile with them and spend quite a bit both online and in stores. However, yet to have a SA and was being served by different SAs for those times I visited them. I did ask for a mini Evelyn in white and was put on a waitlist which I reckon it's only an act of courtesy as she did tell me the demand for mini bags are high + the colour I'd like to get is seasonal and may not be in stock that soon.

Can shield some light how to get a SA assigned to me so as to build this r/s? Many thanks in advance

I don’t think you need an SA assigned to you. Do you feel comfortable with anyone in particular? I would suggest you ask them if you can have contact details to message them when you have a wishlist/ request. I would keep lists to a short one and and only message when you have a few items in mind. Building your profile is the best with one SA, at one store, not shopping online, if you wish for a bag ASAP, although I broke those rules myself as a newbie.

Not really in a hurry for a b/k as I've gotten myself a Etoupe B35 from a Japanese reseller/broker years ago at a steal ($8k+ for full set) and am happy to use it as my work bag. It's the K25/28 in white I'm after and the resale prices are getting more and more ridiculous, even more so during this pandemic that I decided to enter this whole Hermes experience in hope to score one in near future.

I'm actually ok with anyone, not a fussy individual. Experiences have been quite ok thus far. Cos of the pandemic, everyone is masked up so only can see their eyes so I can't seriously remember who is who and didn't really take note of their names. I was served by a young lady with short bob hair during my last visit at Liat towers. Very causal with me which I kinda like it; make me feel more at ease. But I didn't take note of her name and we parted ways after I'm done with my purchases. I did ask her for the price of mini Evelyns and even have a bit of a chat on how resellers have been marking up the prices these minis on various platform. I did have this initial impression that this is how pricy the mini Evelyns are after she told me the estimated prices. Somewhat felt "cheated" after learning on the actual prices of those minis. This was where she suggested to place my name on the waitlist and asked me for a list of colours other than white. She even gifted me 2 perfume samples for me to try which I think it's very thoughtful of her.

I wish I could get the items I want at stores, well the downside is that what I want is all OOS and it always happens that most of them are only available online.

That’s the challenge these couple of years. Cant get what you want in store most of the time, but if you can wait, you can ask SA to order or let you know when items are in. That way you can also continue to build store history.

That's quite an issue for me as I don't buy things from them for the sake of clocking in my purchases towards a B/K. I do love their loafers as their shoes fits me best. Being a 1/2 size woman, it seems only Hermes carries my size that they're now my go-to place for my shoes. But I'd have to say not all designs carry in 1/2 sizes and they seems to run out quickly. The thing in getting online is the convenience, I can basically switch to other country sites and make the purchases and ship straight to the person I want to gift in overseas. This is a plus point!

Perhaps I might want to start seeking for SA's assistance for certain items I'm looking at the next time I visit them.

It is good to build a relationship with an SA even if you’re not buying things to clock up the pre-spend. This is because, as we all know, even things like shoes don’t come in many sizes. If you express an interest in a particular design, your SA will keep a lookout for your size and alert you to go to the store when it comes in. Same for all other things like SLGs, popular scarf designs/ colourway. I think sometimes the SAs need to “chope” for the customer to go to the store that day or at least tell the customer that something is in store so you can drop off to buy.

+1

Agreed!
Establishing a good relationship with your SA is key to getting stuff you like (not just B/K/C).

Thanks Ladies! Though yet to have a SA as I'm generally ok to have anyone to serve, I'll make attempts to associate myself with someone that I can click well with.

Apart from this, does anyone knows how much is H-pop mini earrings retailing? Would love to get one in white.
