another question for the ladies/expert here.

As the SA at MBS store told me that, each store manage their own inventory. Questions:-
1) Do they share the inventory system to each other?
2) If yes, can your SA request to transfer the stock from another store?

Judging from how he told me is that, they don't normally transfer stock around in SG. Does that mean we need to move around to different store for different sizing, color combination or product available in store? :(
If u not keen on quota bag, u can buy from whichever store that carries the item u like.

If u keen on quota bag, pls be guided by your SA.

They can see the inventory of other store but transferring is subject to approval and they can’t transfer new arrivals, that’s what I know.
Yes, if u are after a QB, then u’ll need to stick with one store and ur SA.

Well im definitely keen on quota bag, so i guess i have no choice but to be patient with the SA from MBS. Reason why i am asking is also prolly due to hermes website shows there are sizes available in Changi T3 Hermes store. That's why i was wondering if they can request for the transfer.

I’ve a weird question. Suppose my QB request has been approved by the SM and I’m waiting for it.

In the meantime, I’m just a few (low) K away from hitting the pre-spend for another QB and I’ve something I want for Christmas. Can my SA submit a 2nd QB request for me? This has never happened before as I usually divide my spend between Paris and SG. I’m ok to wait eg 1in end 2021 and one in 2022. I’m asking in part because Skinnyepicurean commented that there’s “no quota left”.

From my understanding it’s 2 QB a year but you will have to get one and a couple of months later then your SA can help you put in the request for the next even if you have hit your pre-spend. I was in a similar situation but had to wait a couple of months before my SA could put in the request as the demand is high and they have to give chance to everyone.

Hello, I believe what @alwaysinmoodtoshop said is true. My SA has helped me to check inventory at other stores twice and one time she was successful in getting the transfer but the other time not approved. Maybe depends on the popularity of the item? One was a past season shawl (approved) and the other was a new season scarf (not approved). She shared that there were 3 in stock at the other boutique but they were not willing to transfer over. For the scarf I decided after some time that I still wanted it and so I placed a deposit for a worldwide search instead since I was in no hurry anyway. But do note that the search is not guaranteed and if they item is not available anymore then they would just return the deposit as store credit to use towards other purchases. Hope this little insight helps :)

Thanks for sharing! I think I’m fine with waiting did her to put in next year as well.
