for ladies with Birkin, may I know how practical is this bag. Do you carry the bag when you go long hours of shopping? If so, wouldn’t it be troublesome since you can’t go hands free to browse things.

I prefer this style to the Kelly but I wouldn’t want a bag that is not practical.

Both are nice & iconic H bags. But if you want to go hands-free, go with the Kelly. I bring a Birkin if I need a tote & need to quickly shove things in & out of my bag. However, if I am shopping for long periods of time, I prefer to bring the Kelly over Birkin because the Birkin is a little bit heavy on the arm. If you can try to carry one, do so. Make sure it isn't empty though! Try to walk around with it for some time & see how you feel about it.

Super agree. I used to have more Bs than Ks. But now I prefer Kelly or Constance just because I find B30s too heavy and B25's handles too short/small to be carried on the arm, and if you hand held them, you can only use your one hand and its impractical already especially when you go shopping for long periods of time.

Just wana share my first experience buying a mini Evelyne in store. I’ve always wanted to get a mini evelyne to use as a causal errand bag but know that it’s quite hard to come by sometimes, especially for colors other than black. But I still left my number with a SA without much hope.

Fast forward to 2 weeks later, he gave me a call to pick up a mini evelyne in etoupe! So yeap, just picked up my bag yesterday and also a maxi twilly to use as a shoulder bag Thanks for letting me share.

I am so excited!!! After my today shopping trip which I bought some small items (must have hit the quota), I just want to share that I am so happy my SA finally broach The Topic and ask me what specs I want for my first B. Hmmm... I am still sitting on the fence undecided between neutrals vs pop of colours even though I have research for quite awhile. With H shopping, it is so hard to shop with imagination. >o< I just wish they can lay out my shortlisted dream specs and then let me touch and feel to choose. Hahaha Sometimes, I like really wander how you all decide what specs to get when the time comes...

For the kelly sellier - yes it is harder than usual, for the kelly retourne - not so much. But for me, it is fine since the contents of my bag tends to be more secured. Also, I don’t tend to open and close my bag that often when using it unless I am sitting already so I don’t find it hassle. It was designed to be closed after all. For the strap, yes they’re a little thin but I don’t overstuff my bags so they don't tend to be heavy, so no complaints there and my Ks are size 25 so they’re okay. I’m not sure with the 28s and 32s though. But I have friends who carry K32s and K35s, they changes the strap to that of evelyne's to be more comfy. Hope this helps.

From what I hear, it is an invitation-only event and only VIPs are invited. My friend who has bought a few quota bags and 1 SO in 2.5-3 years was never invited.

There are probably some Hermes VIPs on this forum and they might be able to enlighten us.

When I was still based in Manila, I get to be invited in these private sale events. Yes, they are an invitation-only event and sometimes you are allowed to bring 1 (any) person with you. I was a VIP there then but I am pretty sure there a lot of clients who are more VVVIIPPP than me. From what I know, each SA submits a list of his/her clients who she/he wants to invite and it get trims down from there. I am not sure if it is the same with SG since I just moved here and just starting my profile. In Manila, the invitation looks like this. Hope this helps.

Bought Lindys, picotins, twillies, Oran and oasis, scarfs, clic clac and earrings but never enough to get quota bag.. so it’s kinda odd.. but I understand there’s another tier..
