Thanks for the insight. It’s not an exact mathematical model then. Lol

True. I was invited for 2 consecutive years, then not invited on the next, then invited again.. on the year of my last invitation, I didn't purchase much from the store nor purchase something significant. My SA also said that she didn't not include me on the year I was not invited because she knew I will be out of the country that time.

I was invited in 2018 and 2019 both times at grand Hyatt..but frankly don’t consider myself as vip. Bought Lindys, picotins, twillies, Oran and oasis, scarfs, clic clac and earrings but never enough to get quota bag.. so it’s kinda odd.. but I understand there’s another tier.. Hermès private private sale.

Interesting and thanks for sharing.

I also do not think that the invitation is exclusive to VIPs as I was also invited for 2 years (2018, 2019) with small purchases like accessories/SLGs and some non-quota bags during that period. Then I took a break and am not sure if they had it last year.

When does these sales happen during the time of the year? Was there anything worth getting when you went for the sale?

Hi all, when I dropped by the store yesterday, I was told by a male SA (not my usual SA) that I would need to wait for 6 months to purchase the next picotin as I recently purchased one. I thought the 6 months gap is only for quota bags?

No idea about now but I purchased a 18 and 22 within the same month at liat. But that’s quite sometime back around 2018

Yepp, she knows that I am looking for one in ghw and was feeling hopeful but after what the male SA told me yesterday, I was like okayyyy :/

I've heard the same for other bags like mini evelyn, i think somewhere along the thread, someone else shared that they were only able to purchase 1pc of mini evelyn, and would need to wait before the next purchase for the same kind of bag. Two sides to this i feel, SA can spread the love to other clients who wants the same style, and also makes it more available to other clients who are after this style, just to name an example.

Trust your SA, if she is aware, then she will KIV and offer you one when the piece for you comes along. Take what the male SA says a with a pinch of salt. In the meantime, enjoy your recent purchase! :)

After purseonfleek's experience in Sydney, here is an article about a man who protested outside SKP Beijing Hermes shop.

According to his post on little red book, he spent more than 10-50K RMB (no specifics were given) and he could not even buy a Picotin. However his friend was able to guy a gold on gold picotin and that really upset him. That day, he went back to Hermes again and spent more than 10KRMB as the SA told him that there is a bag that he wanted but need his IC as part of transaction requirement. He went off to get his IC and came back later, and queued to go back into the store. Unfortunately when he went into to the store, he was told that there is no stock. He was so upset and decided to protest outside the shop.

The sign said, "Rubbish Hermes, spent money but no bag was given.
