From your experiences, will your SA ask about your wishlist only after your preorder items arrive and it hits the prespend? Or is there a chance that SA will bring it up before?

I didn’t wait for SA to ask, early on when I had a couple meetings with her, I mentioned I wanted to get a quota bag this year. As we got closer to prespend, I showed a few photos of colors I don’t mind, and she got the hint. So my take is, be proactive to mention to SA but don’t overdo it ◡̈ Hth.

Hello! I’m quite new to the H journey and am thinking of buying my first non-quota bag. Am considering the Garden Party in 30/36 and would like to know if anyone here has any thoughts about the two sizes and prices? Thank you!

For me, I think the 30 is a good all around daily beater and casual outings. 36 would be good if using for work. How do you see yourself using the bag?

I am looking for something that I could use for both work and for outings on weekends so 36 sounds like a good idea. I have not (yet) seen anyone putting a laptop into a 36 so I'm not sure if it would be a good idea for me to still get it?

I’m the one who brought up that I would want a b/k this year - when I started I still wasn’t sure if I wanted b or k. She was also very upfront in telling me the amount that requires for me to request for a quota bag. We worked together towards in and she’s been so helpful in getting items for me. I also ever hinted her the hardware and color I’m really keen in for my quota bag but I only did it once.

When I knew I was close to my accumulated spending required, I brought it up, she calculated and told me I’m just 1k away. I told then her the exact combi I want.

Preorder will only be counted towards your prespend when it arrives and paid for.

Feel free to try it at the store! It’s usually always on display. I went last week and both neutrals and summer colors were on display. Bring your laptop along too to test the weight of the bag.

I have the 30 in vache country leather and it’s my favourite bag in my small collection. It’s so cute and fits all that I need. Nondescript but so chic (to me at least! Haha) The only con is that it can only fit in the crook of my arm. It sounds like between the 30 and 36. 36 may be the one for you based on what you’d use it for. As someone else mentioned best to try it out for yourself and see which works best!

It definitely fits a laptop but I’m not sure if it’s comfortable to carry for long as the shoulder drop is not suitable for shoulder carry.

Canvas or leather? For 30 canvas i think is $3k and leather $5.2k. 36 leather $5.5k. Iirc. Hths.

@vzeraph I used my canvas GP36 as a laptop bag every single day for 3 years (pre-Covid). Definitely can be carried over the shoulder easily - in my plus-sized experience

I just realized that I have never carried her without a laptop inside! (Which unfortunately means she has been severely underutilized since full-time WFH became the norm.)

Best you check with your SA cause there are variances across store + SA

I agree to best check with your SA, some SA say 1:1, mine said sometimes higher and sometimes lower, it depends. She said that she will surprise me when the time is right, I know this style might not work for some people.
I also asked my SA, does the pre-spend reset to zero in Jan (eg. if I spend only 5K, does it mean its becomes 0 by 1st Jan and I have to start pre-spend from $0), she said no. The Dec deadline is only important for those who are planning to get 2 quota bags in 1 year.

Just curious - Did you mention to your SA that you would like a quota bag this year? If yes, did you mention it during your first appointment with her?
