Hi all,

Would like to start my H journey. Have been a few times, so far the SAs I encountered seems cold. Would appreciate if any of you could share /recommend a helpful and friendly SA at either the MBS or Taka Boutique.

Looking forward to receiving a message from you. Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

do yall know how often the store restocks Picotin? went in to ask a few times, always no stock available.

Do you have any purchase history?

The stocks are indeed pretty low, I believe… you can try asking Taka during non peak hours?

I personally asked once at MBS, they offered Picotin22 after getting a 90scarf

And at Taka, I was offered one by a walk-in SA a black picotin18 wo purchase history.

I ended up getting an 18 from my own SA that I’ve decided to build a relationship with.

With Hermes I came to realise it’s a lot about timing and luck. If you happen to be in town just swing by see a twilly maybe, Before asking for the bag. Good luck :)

Thanks for the info!

I encountered something like this as well when I just started my H journey.
DH and I went to one store on a quiet weekday evening to ask about a specific scarf
design which we really like but the store said it's out of stock.
We then asked if there's stock at other stores so that they can help transfer because we will
like to get other items as well and hope to consolidate our spend with that store.....
and they said it's out of stock at other places too.
After the scarf, we asked about homeware and they also said it's out of stock and we proceeded
to ask if we can place an order with deposit for it. The store said it is not possible. :blah:

As we are pretty near to another H store, we walked over immediately to ask about those items and,
to our surprise...., that exact scarf was available!!! :cursing:
And....we also managed to place order for our homeware.
Based from my experience, there are truly times when there is no stock. However, if I am a loyal customer and I have been with an SA for six months (and actively buying stuff) and she never offers me anything similar (I understand that I won't get all the specs that I want always) to what I asked her, then I know she is playing a game and is highly not likely to give me what I asked for. In which case, I know that it is time to move on---it is time to find another SA, another H store, or both!

The question is, which store did you go later?

Yeah she was stunned when I rejected it because I have too many black bags and I wanted a brighter summer color one hahaha.

I usually prefer to go weekdays at 10am when the store just opens.

Also I love hermes’ stuff across all departments so I’ve never once left empty handed, sometimes are affordable items like the lip gloss or blusher, so not sure if that also sends a signal that I’m a genuine in this journey thus her generous offers to me?

Hmm I can’t share my SA contact/name since I have not asked her if it would be ok for me to do so. I also don’t think they would appreciate being contacted or sought by a customer they have never met. That’s just my thinking…

but if you are keen to build a relationship. You can either go to a boutique during off-peak hours, so the SA can dedicate more time to you. Or you can call for an appointment and be assigned an SA (I think they do this in sg). I would definitely still recommend booking an appt during off-peak so your SA isn’t super busy. Hope this helps!

Hello! I’m quite new to the H journey and am thinking of buying my first non-quota bag. Am considering the Garden Party in 30/36 and would like to know if anyone here has any thoughts about the two sizes and prices? Thank you!
