Question about silicon feet protectors - for those who use them, may I know if they leave a mark after removing? And if you are positive about using them, could I kindly ask for your recommended seller/link to purchase? thank you!

Mine doesnt leave a mark because the the protector I got doesn’t touch the leather, there is a little bit of space between the leather and the protector.

Hi all, I decided to start on my H journey this year and went in to the Taka store over the weekend to get an Apple watch strap for my husband.

The SA who served me never told me her name (my bad that I didn't try to check if she had a name tag), and I don't seem to find an SA name on the receipt, there was only cashier name.

I ended up getting the watch strap and a pair of oran sandals. The SA was helpful and smiley but she didn't seem keen to answer my questions when I was asking about the BKC bags. She said can go on waitlist, but it sounded like she said it just to end the convo.

Sorry but silly questions, what happens in this case? How many times have you been to the store before you get a contact number from an SA? Is everything in the store considered towards my spending or are those items not considered therefore she was not interested to keep me? My end goal is to get a K25 or a b30, should I still keep visiting Taka store and buying stuff from different SAs?

Thanks for taking the time to read my silly questions :)
Not a silly question, actually this question keeps popping up.
I had the same experience and my gut feel is that "waiting list" is a nice way of saying don't have but not saying no outright.
Most of them are polite, but most do not proactively push products to the customer or offer transfer/pre-order, until they have a relationship with you, thus the "better to buy online" statement is made. Which is a good strategy if you are not going after a BKC as the online store has a better range. Another good place to buy if not going after a BKC is the reseller route(there are so many good ones in SG), as brand new fine jewelry can go as low as 1/2 price.

If you are planning to build a profile for BKC, ask for the SA name card and number, it is a norm to hand it out when a customer ask. In the beginning of the relationship, you have to be more proactive to follow up and ask about stock. This might sound crazy but visit the store often as stocks are replenished regularly but SA might not be told what/when is being replenished on that day and the stocks in the next shipment.

If you want a BKC urgently, buy the stocks available in store as pre-orders can take 6-8 months(depending on stock, I am still waiting for my pendant which I ordered 4 months ago), and add a couple of months(dependent on stock and specs that you want) after you hit your spend to get your BKC.

There was a watch customisation event in June, you may want to call and ask if it is still available cos just add a few diamonds and your watch will hit the required spend quickly. The watch should arrive by Oct 2021 and you can talk to your SA about your BKC too.

The above is my observation and experience, it may differ from people to people, SA to SA, store to store.

I outrightly asked for my SA’s number so I could message her if there was anything else I wanted. She was more than happy to oblige and gave me her card and wrote her number down. I shopped a few times before at the store always with different SA’s. but I felt like the SA I got that time was a lot more helpful and I wanted to properly start building my profile at the start of the years so I just asked outright.

The good thing about getting an SA number is being able to set up appointments (so no need to queue) and she can prepare what I want to look at beforehand. And like what others have mentioned they can help push your profile for bags

Oh I really want this but I don’t even dare ask for rodeo much less the Pegasus! Haha.

Curious what’s considered VIP in hermès… we have to drop such a big amount just to get a quota bag and that’s just a standard customer. it boggles my mind to think about the amount of spend that qualifies you as VIP :giggle:

Have you gotten any bags, even though non quota? From my understanding if you have an okay relationship with your SA, each bag qualifies for a rodeo. I turned down twice cause the colors aren’t pretty to me, I gotten two non quota bags so far. So no harm asking, after all we are the customers :)

As for Pegasus, my SA told me the queue for it flows down the pyramid- vvvip (higher spenders first), and so on and so forth. She mentioned she will keep for me when it’s my turn, so fingers crossed :)

There are many people who shop at Hermes and their end goal aren’t BKC. The replied your SA gave you is expected. If you really like your SA, try calling them up with your receipt reference and I believe the SA who served you needs to sign off. The HQ will then get the SA to contact you - that’s how I got my SA’s number. Our relationship eventually grew from there as I frequent the store frequently to build up my profile. :) after 2nd visit I made it known to her I’m keen in BK and she told me the quota I need. HTHs

That’s interesting, I have not gotten my quota bag yet but bought 4 non-quota bags, every time I asked for a rodeo or Pegasus, my SA say no stock. ):

It could really be there is no stock. I know stock level for rodeos is low or zero lately cuz I asked as well. As fo Pegasus, only a few have trickled in so far and in limited colours so like what Butterflous said, it’s going down the pyramid now and when more stocks arrive, more people will get a chance to be offered.

Yes I only have one though which I bought from the same boutique ages ago. Will try ask as you say no harm asking. Worse case she will only say no stock anyway. Your SA sounds good. Hopefully a Pegasus will fly its way into your collection soon

Yeah, I asked twice but sadly both colors werent to my liking. My SA is a gem so far :) pretty straight to the point, very much like how I am too.

not silly questions. if you enjoyed shopping with the SA you can actually make the first move to ask them for their contact details. If you want your spend to count at NAC, then just continue to shop there. Your profile in the shop is regardless of SAs. The benefit to stay with a SA is that he/she will benefit from your spend, and a stronger incentive to "push" for your dream bag when there's an opportunity. so highly recommend to shop for a SA that you can work with, and stick with him/her.

Thanks for your time taken to respond! I have received a kind message with an SA recommendation so the next time I will make an appointment to visit :)

Here's to hoping I get my B/K soon *fingers crossed*
