Hi all, i just started on this H journey, trying to build up a profile with my SA. I’m wondering how do you all build a relationship with your SA and what do you all chat about? Details on leather/ latest colors of H or personal questions? Thanks :)

I’ve gotten my long awaited bag fresh from the store. Im loving it. It’s a K25 noir PHW.
But when I have a closer look. It’s not a Y stamp.
Meaning it’s not produced in year 2020?
Should it be of concern? Anyone can advise?

Mines D stamp though I got it in Oct this year. My SA said the stamp doesn't matter

Hi all! I'm new to this forum - chanced upon this forum few days ago, and have been religiously reading up all the entries.
I am very interested in Hermes and particularly would really like to score either B K or C and have been looking out for information I can get on it all the time. This forum is very useful!

I just got an Aloha sandals from Liat Towers (walk in), only just yesterday. I do not have relationship with any SA yet but have been buying little bit, not substantive things. Like herbag purchase online, picotin, twilly and the aloha sandals yesterday.

Are you all able to share what are the items that are able to count towards meeting quota of getting BKC?
Like I know bags do not count, but from reading the past entries the answer towards SLGs is not very definite
some of you say SLGs do not count, some say count but not full amount, 10% etc, which is it?

would a small wallet count towards quota?
And can I know if aloha sandals or oran sandals count towards the quota?
Do belts count towards the quota?

Appreciate your help because I would like to build towards what I might purchase in order to be able to meet the quota and more information would really be very helpful! TIA!
Welcome to the slippery slope! I believe everything counts except bags, but a more senior TPFer may be able to advise better (:

mine was $10.xxx and my SA started offering bags, rose purple and blue encre in kelly 25 and a pink-tone mini Constance which I politely declined them because I would like a natural-tone bag. Going on to shop the next 2 trips until my spending reached $18.xxx and she offered me an ETAIN Epsom Kelly 25 with GHW.

Hi, may I know how much did you spend on the Etain Epsom Kelly 25 GHW?

Everything except bags and bag straps can help to build your profile. So yes, wallets, shoes and belts are countEd. With regards to wallets it’s a bit more tricky as many people purchase them as the easy path to getting a BKC. They are counted but not the full value will be counted. The bottom line is your profile should not consist solely of wallets and ideally should be spread across several metiers - eg silks, rtw, Jewelry, timepiece, etc

Hope this helps and good luck on your journey

Everything counts except bags. Wallets / SLGs have a quota of only 5k. Spendings on SLGs after the 5k mark will not be counted.

Hello! Based on what I know, online purchases and bags do not count. All others should count though I think some categories are looked upon more favourably than others (e.g. fine jewellery, RTW). Generally, you should try to cultivate a relationship with an SA at a particular store. Think that matters as much as the amount spent.
