How cute! I was at Liat once when one of the SAs let the child of a customer played with a couple of these puzzles whilst mommy shopped. When the time came to leave, the little boy was all ready to return them. When the SA told the little boy he could keep both, the joy on his face was priceless!

How sweet. I'll have to bring my nieces in next time then! Then uncle will keep it afterwards! just kidding! :p

I think it's the little gestures like that which truly make Liat my top store.

Unfortunately, it means that nearly every other store (H or otherwise) falls quite short of their level of service.

And what a smart "investment" for the future - I bet that little boy will be shopping at H when he's all grown up!

Hi ladies, the other day when I bring in my bag to Liat for spa/refurbishment, I was told the Singapore craftsman has left and there might be (they are not sure) a lady replacement in April. Is this true? If so, do you know where is the nearest H store to Singapore to get your bag a spa in the meantime? Thank you so much and sorry if this topic has been discussed :smile1:.

Is it a lady?

I'm not sure when they are getting a replacement, but I know the old craftsman was slated to leave since last year.

There is only 1 craftsperson in SG, in Liat, so if they are waiting for another to come in, I'd just wait. The other alternative is to have the SA send the bag back to Paris to get it spa-ed, but if it is just minor or a small issue, I'd leave it and wait for the craftsperson.

I remember a thread awhile back which said HK will be getting their own craftsman early this year. Might want to check with some of the HK tpfers if he's already started.

^ That is correct, there is no craftsperson now until April. Sending to Paris would take longer than 6 months. If it is just a regular spa, i'd wait. Unless it's an emergency.

Hrmm ... I sent my bag for a refurbishment last year and haven't received it back yet. I didn't know the craftsman has left. No wonder it takes so long. I did hear the news that the craftsman is leaving though. He's been in Singapore for a few years.

Anyone knows how much a Cabag cost here? What color available? Is there leather choice or only Canvas?

I am unsure about the term Canvas in Hermes. I know LV Canvas is hard and sturdy and definitely durable though is not real leather.

But Chanel Canvas is cloth-like material and not durable.

So I was thinking in terms of Canvas here in Hermes, is it cloth-like material? Is it durable?

TIA

dinitegrity - you can always call up the H store and ask or do a search on this forum - you can usually find the answers you want that way. Best to go down and take a look at the toile yourself at one of the H stores as well - the you really get a feel of the material :)

Hi badmad, I am real busy these few weeks to the extent of only 4hours sleep each day, can't afford the time to go down the store at all.

I couldn't find much post abt Cabag that is why I post my questions here hoping some kind soul can help. As far as I have research, toile is different from Canvas right?

Perhaps you can give the store a call..GL!

toile is different from canvas.

the LV canvas as far as I know is "laminated" (but i am no LV expert), thus creating that PVC feel. h canvas may have been treated but the hand is different. i believe canvas on Cabag is more smooth but a bit starchy, for lack of a better word. in terms of durability, i don't know how they compare to other brands, but in terms of H, i've been told that toile is more durable than canvas.

i agree with others that things like this are hard to explain. it is best that you go to the store and get a feel yourself. that way, you can decide whether you like it or not!
