Our journeys and profiles differ so what’s applicable to us may not be applicable to you. I also can’t tell if you mean that you have a few QBs but collected one this year or the one you collected earlier is your first and only QB. And our SAs’ seniority and portfolio of customers also differ. Very hard to pinpoint to whether boutique XYZ can offer this or SA DEF can offer that.

@janganna I was told I can rollover the spending while waiting for 1st qb for the next qb so I continued with my spending. I also asked can she request for next qb right after collection of my 1st qb for the year and was told no because need to leave a 3 months gap before any request for next qb can be put in. She then shared because of the long waiting time of popular specs qb these days, I will most probably only receive my next qb next year when she submit for me this year (which means I will end up getting only 1 qb this year) since there is waiting time between submission to actual receipt of the bag.

@cloudsz got it in April. If really can rollover, I am trending now in the 20-25k range.

It shouldn’t reset, but could push back your QB. Best to discuss and be guided by your SA, some SAs offer non-QBs during the wait if they foresee the wait will be long and the QB will not arrive in the next few months anyway. But if the ETA of the requested non-qb and your QB are close, a good SA will likely advise against getting the non-QB.

Thanks for sharing dear. Seems very clear to me why she hasn’t put in the next request.

It’s really up to you if you want to continue spending with your SA or just wait out for the QB. Alternatively you can spend at another boutique to build a new profile under a family member’s name. Or maybe, go on a nice vacation and build profile in a new country eg Japan, Hawaii or Paris. Really depends on how deep your pockets are.

The orange slope is a slippery one. My advice to all the ladies is, pls don’t overspend because of QBs. Buy only what you love. Don’t get too deep into this QB business and get upset.

It’s pretty clear why the next QB hasn’t been submitted. Do clarify with your SA after the 3rd month and have more patience. After all, your profile is relatively new.

Thank you for the reply, I was told my wait is a year, and i am currently halfway through the wait. There are some irresistible smaller items that I do pick up, but trying to pace myself since it cant count for the next one. Will check if it’s ok for me to get a Halzan while waiting . Hee

I would like to share that while i know liat cannot rollover but i just found out that a friend who shops at liat always just have a portion deducted for each of her quota bag. Is this due to her spending being very high or is a long time customer? Anyone here able to shed some light on this?

I’ve shopped at Liat for close to 3 years now. Pre-spend is reset for Kelly and Birkin. For Constance 24, it doesn’t really affect pre-spend. I got it when my profile was only 2 months old back in 2020. For Constance 18, pre-spend is deducted by around 7-8k range. I don’t think it’s possible that for B and K your friend only has a portion of pre-spend deducted. I have another 4-5 friends who shop at LT too and pre-spends have always been reset back to scratch for B and K even when they’ve been shopping for close to 8-10 years.

Approx how much is your friend’s spend every year and how long has she been shopping there? From what I’ve gathered, if a client is consistently spending very large amounts even while waiting for bags, then the usual guidelines may not apply. My SA has clients who buy H diamond fine jewellery for their primary school age kids’ normal daily wear, I don’t expect our convos on QBs and whether can rollover or not to be the same , they may not even think about rollover at all. I doubt H is going to tell long term high spending clients who freely spend way beyond what is needed for QBs that oh, this sofa will not count towards your next B or K as you are still waiting for a QB in your requested specs to arrive. I’ve only been shopping H for a year+, but I find what many more experienced members have shared to be true, that a lot of things are more guidelines than rules, everyone’s journey is different and better not to compare as there’s often no clear answers. Even on this forum we’ve seen reports of members getting mini K with about 1:1 spend as their first QB while many others are told it’s not possible.

When you say easier are you referring to wait time because there are less people queuing? Not 100% true. Depends on the type of leather, colour of bag and size. In the first place, not everyone is allowed to purchase one. You need to have been a customer for some years with a good profile. Croc and gator are more exclusive. The wait is about 6-12mths. Then the price is 4x. For example a normal K25 seillier is 17K sgd and a K25 croc is 69.9K. So the prespend and cost of the bag would be upwards of 140K. I’ve a friend whose prespend was 1.4X. You sure you want to drop 170K for a croc bag? It’s a huge amount that’s not palatable to me in this stage of my life. But if you have the moolah, you do you girl!
