Wow, 20-yr old profile, all croc collection, and the cost of a croc bag is merely a portion of her spend… Your friend is probably at least VVIP (VVVIP? Don’t really know how the tiers work), not surprised at all if things work differently for her.

Do you happen to know how does one get invited to the private sale?
Does your SA need to advocate for you or do all Hermes clients with a consistent purchasing profile be invited to such events?

Basically i was told that if i buy FJ and hit the pre-spend for a croc bag, it will be faster to get a croc than a leather bag, and if i continue spending after getting the croc bag, basically the wait for a leather will also be faster... not sure if anyone has experienced that..

yes I'm wondering too if anyone has such experience with the first qb being croc after having a high prespend that qualifies for a croc?

Invites are sent out by the corporate office. Based on what I have observed so far, it appears that invites to the private sale are sent to those with a consistent purchasing profile once they are in the queue for or have gotten at least their second QB. Please correct me if I am wrong!

Ladies, there’s no point comparing journeys and asking about crocs, prespend, rollovers and waiting time. All our journeys and profiles are different. This message has been conveyed consistently over the last 50-100 pages but we still have people trying to track down which boutique can rollover and which cant. It’s case by case darling!

If you’re able to afford the 5 seater sellier sofa, metiers oval table and chaine d’ance full diamond punk bracelet, I suggest you speak to your SA and see if you can be fast tracked.

Precisely. Spending on small ticket items chocking up tens of thousands sgd is really not gonna make a dent in the sea. Somehow people fail to see that.

I may be in the minority, but for me part of the fun and my commitment to shopping at Hermes consistently is because of the prespend, and what l can get after attaining it. Of course, l have learned to buy only what l like. I don’t think there is anything wrong with keeping tabs on prespend amount, and knowing if can rollover or not. Appreciating Hermes as a brand and having a detailed knowledge about your prespend is not mutually exclusive. But, if obsessing about prespend and comparing with others is stealing your joy, making you potentially upset and angry, then maybe take a step back and have a chill pill. Because it’s not worth your emotional well being

Personally, what robs me of my joy is comparing with others, expecting to get a quota bag faster by spending more.

My SAs doesn’t allow me to buy more if they think I start to build up my expectations upon spending more. That’s a nice check and balance.
