Buying furniture seems to help. I bought an entry level piece of furniture and strangely I was offered an SO soon after that. My furniture has not arrived and I don’t spend more than 1:1 per qb.

Sometimes the SA stops our expenditure because the store does not allow rollover so in a way he or she is managing client’s expectations. Not sure though because the rules change as per the store, SA and client. Too many variables.

I received an invite though I only have 1 qb. I reckon they look at consistent spending when sending out the invites.

You can start from there. I usually check the France website. Then I will tell my SA about the items I'm interested in. You can also view some pieces at Liat. You can also browse the catalog at the three stores. Just ask your SA. He or she will be more than happy to help.

Hi all

I'm new here, sorry if this question (or similar ones) have been asked before.
I recently started my purchase with Hermes MBS. I purchased a shawl, several belts, fashion jewellery and am waiting for sandals now.
My experience with the SA is rather weird... (?) She told me that Hermes has no "purchase history", just ask me to get what I like, but she also did asked me what bag I'm looking for which I mentioned mini Lindy. But I'm also not sure if I'm in the "wait list".... I'm not too sure how I can actually ask her about this.
I'm not the richest customer out there so I don't go to the store and make big purchases... just small ones periodically, and I make sure to purchase things I really like and will use.
Do you guys have any advice how I can proceed with my Hermes journey? TIA! :)

Its the same when they say there is no prespend. These are Hermes’ unwritten rules/guidelines that SAs really avoid talking about.

I think the fact that she asked you what bag are you looking for is a positive indication she is willing to take you as a client. Are you in constant communication with her now re the sandals you’re waiting for?

Welcome to the Hermes journey!!

What I understand from my SA is that the mini Lindy is a very popular bag right now, and although it’s a non QB, it is not offered as readily as the mini evelyne and you will need to have some form of a “purchase history” first before they offer you one!

What I would suggest is to visit your SA periodically and buy a little of something that you like or will use whenever you meet him/her.

Perhaps once you have established a “purchase history”, bring this up to your SA again and see what he/she says. I believe there is a wait list for the mini Lindy right now.

Yes I expressed interest and bought small things each time I flew back and got my Mini L after a few months. Mainly RTW, one or two pieces per visit and shoes only. No leather anything, no FJ. I have never requested for a QB. Let things develop organically and I am sure you will get an offer.

I recently just checked in with her again on my sandals.. and I think she forgot about it >_< Cos she couldn't rmb what colour and size I mentioned during my previous visit. But after reminding her about it she said she will update me again. I think I will check in with her a few weeks later ha.

I see, that's comforting to know!! Thank you!! May I know what colour mini L did you get? Actually I'm considering Lindy 26 also haha both are so prettyyyyy

Also please don’t be disheartened if things like this happen. It happens all the time, even to the most regular of clients, due to SAs entertaining so many customers. Don’t take it personally, most of the time they are just really overwhelmed and cant keep track of all of their clients’ requests.

Chiming in to ask about the mini Evelyne as I also just started on my Hermes purchase. However both SA that served me said that the demand is high for mini Evelyne and is not “readily available”. So far I have bought two shoes & two SLG from both SA.

May I know which store do you guys know that have “readily available” mini Evelyne? Is it due to my newly created profile that they are not able to offer me the bag?

Or any tips on how often I should check in (text my SA) / visit store so that I don’t come off as too pushy? Thank you in advance! :)
