Yes this is perfectly normal in Hermes.

Do you mind sharing what are the items you typically buy? I understand the selection makes a difference so just want to learn.
Happy to share. I buy across different categories - ready to wear (RTW), fine jewellery (FJ), fashion jewellery, timepieces, beauty & perfumes, shoes, bags, small leather goods, scarves and twillies, homeware & home decor (cushions, throws, dinnerware etc). My biggest loves are the RTW and FJ, so naturally I buy more items in these categories.

Each of our journeys with Hermes will be different and as @ka3na20 pointed out, our sharings only serve as a guide. There is no gospel H rule/truths.

Thank you! I have bought across the above except a watch…also no furniture.

Is it ok to store in open cabinets (no doors) but in dust bags? How often do you recommend airing them? Need to be in aircon when I air or room temperature is fine?
I use MUJI's pp drawers for all of my handbags.
These drawers fit nicely into my wardrobe's compartments, are easy to slide out and access my bags, and are easy to wipe clean (I use a soft cloth + a few drops of disinfectant dissolved in water). I don't keep my H bags in dustbags.
I use duhimidifiers - both the machine and the thirsty hippo type. I place the thirsty hippo either into the pp drawer itself, or at the back of my wardrobe.

Thanks for the recommendation

I feel that this will be their strategy frm now on. I went to H overseas (not paris, just asia) during my recent holiday trip. Chatted w the SA there quite a bit. N she said that if i want SLG or bags, it’s better to build rs & get frm my local H store. They value repeat purchases, which i think only possible when ur residing there.
I think it depends on the sa. I bought non qb from Vietnam in Dec 2022 and Taiwan in Jan 2023.
