If u like it and ok with retail price tag, just get it.
If u like it but not ok with retail price tag since not aiming for any bag offer, can get it discounted at reputable reseller.
If u like it and hope it gets u a bag offer, just get it.
If u just want a nice quartz watch that tells time, many other brands in the few hundred dollar range can also do the same job.
If already hit the pre spend and don’t like the watch, would getting a watch help the profile in any way?

Wait to buy a watch you (more or less) like.

Yes, a good profile usually includes watch(es). Hermes doesn’t really care which particular watch. So you should just buy the watch you like (more or less) for your future bag.

If you only want to accelerate in getting your bag faster, u really should check with your SA if that is possible. Nowadays there are so many customers, the money you dump on a watch may not even make a dent.

Have you checked with your SA? A few years back I sent in a few shawls with thread pulls and my SA sent it to someone they know to fix it. The person did a very good job. I paid $25 per shawl.
Thanks for sharing! Which store did you send yours to? I asked my sa but my sa didn’t say anything. I have one that my broken fingernail pulled the shawl on my first use and it’s my fave piece.

Hi everyone, I'm thinking whether to invest in a 140cm cashmere shawl. Can anybody share their experience of owning and wearing one? Do you get much use out of it in Singapore? I usually wear cardigans to keep warm but was thinking of trying shawls for a change. I haven't asked my SA about it yet. Wonder what the selection is like in-store...
I love it and have many! Good to keep you warm in aircon and it feels comfortable.

I just use a normal cabinet. I store my bags with their dustbags and just make sure I air them out once in a while. I also dont put dehumidifier sachets on the bags themselves as they can dry the leather. Aside from airing them out, I keep the cabinet open once in a while for air circulation.
Is it ok to store in open cabinets (no doors) but in dust bags? How often do you recommend airing them? Need to be in aircon when I air or room temperature is fine?

Being in aircon doesn’t mean is safe. If your aircon do not have regular mould checks, then it might just be circulating the mould around your bags.

It’s not the temperature that matters, it is the humidity level. For Singapore, putting it in normal room conditions is quite bad for your leather products as it is very humid all the time. Less than 55% is a safe gauge for leather products. If you can get slightly less than 50%, it will be even better. Some leathers tend to absorb moisture more than others, such as Clemence vs Epsom.

I agree to this! But, I heard that putting dehumidifier inside the bag is a bad idea because the chemical liquid can leak and may destroy or deform our bag. So I use a room dehumidifier instead for a safer choice since it dehumidify the room instead of dehumidifying the bag directly? But if anyone have a better option please do share your tips  TIA
