Happy new year ladies! I wanted to pop in to thank those of you who helped me figure out where to shop in Singapore.
I visited both Liat, where I bought a sweater (near my moms new place; she hasn’t moved in yet) and MBS where DH bought a sports jacket (near my hotel). SAs were very kind and welcoming bc I made it clear that I was only looking to fill in pieces of random available RTW, and I already have a local US and FSH SA for leather. Thank you again

forgot to add that I searched the forum for Singapore Hotels close to the various H locations, and I couldn’t find a specific post, or a summary of the H branches, so I am adding below in case it helps others (as a newcomer, i would welcome correction in case I am in error). I hope it is okay to post this here

Liat (and takashimaya) are close to the Four Seasons; Hilton; St Regis; and Tanglin Club. Though the flagship, Liat has more of a laid back vibe IMO. Short ride to Como Dempsey (Candlenut and Culina). I hit it off with an SA there, and I will probably return to him the few times a year that I end up back in Singapore. The vibe seemed to be more like meatpacking in NY than Madison Ave, but that was just my impression.

Taskashimaya H seems to have more of a lux mall Orchard st vibe. Also seems to have more lines, perhaps bc it’s in Takashimaya, and also close to Imperial Treasure etc. Chanel has a virtual queue, so I think it’s hard to schedule shopping H and chanel without appt, unless you do not mind waiting. I think the bookstore is here. To be honest, I didn’t feel like waiting since I was happy with my Liat and MBS experiences.

MBS (financial district) is close (7 minutes walking) to the Fullerton Bay Hotel; Fullerton Hotel; and Raffles, and there seems to be a lux glitzy tourist or expat atmosphere to the MBS mall in general. The SA was also very nice here, but I didn’t get the same sense of rapport despite buying a more expensive item. I have no sense of direction, so if you are at the concierge desk, go down the escalator to B2 and then walk past Zara, past the water feature, bridge, casino, and gondola, to get to H. Half an hour after H opens on a weekday morning, a line forms. The entire mall was overwhelming to me, but there is a Din Tai Fong. If someone adores bucellati, the branch in MBS seems much larger than Madison Avenue.

ETA: Liat has a black box calvi available if anyone is looking

Also, i always establish a profile using DHs info. I assumed that my purchases, including three QBs from 2022 (NY and FSH) would pop up, but they did not.
To add, MBS has its own hotel which you accidentally missed out on!

In SG we still generally prefer to make appointments with our SAs so that we skip the queueing process.

Hi all, I’m desperately trying to get a b25 from the boutique. Could you guys share any tips, prespend, categories, which boutique is easier to obtain etc. I’m trying to get it for my birthday this year but I don’t really trust resellers so I don’t feel comfortable going that route. Please share any tips that can help! I’m currently shopping at taka store with 1 sa and there’s just no stocks for anything. Im desperate guys! Please help me! Thanks
The only guarantee to getting one in time unfortunately is via resellers though I guess you could try hinting to your SA as long as you’ve met pre-spread.

Regarding what other members have done to get QBs I suggest spending some time reading through this thread as there are already some good tips shared.

taka imho is the worst (longest) for QBs in general. there is always the exception but people i know who shop there, is about 9-12 months waiting time (but then, they are quite specific with specs, not too much room) and as such, 1 QB per year.

Since you just got this K25, I think you’ll have to wait at least until 2024.

Thank you, of course I should not have forgotten since I can see it from across the water . The Liat SA did give me his days off, and he strongly encouraged me to make an appt for my next visit. NY is the same

thank you @Helventara ! I hope you have a fabulous trip. I was told that new RTW is coming in Feb. Besides MBS H, the other advantage to Fullerton Bay is Lau Pa Sat but of course there are many others too.

I am traveling to Singapore in a few weeks. This is super helpful. Thank you so much for sharing and congrats on scoring items that you love! i tried googling for appointment link but I can't find it. I guess I will just have to test my luck when I get there.

Appointments are usually made directly with the SAs via their mobiles. If you want to skip the queues it’s best to go when they open for the day.
