There is such a thing for Hermes to stop customers from buying. I didn’t realize, or maybe she just wants me to slow down my spending while waiting for my QB to arrive?
There is, I heard they stop customers from buying until their QB arrives. But it’s not the case for me. My SA been asking me to buy things, sending me items every month. I have spent about the same as you while waiting for a QB.
But I suggest, if picotin comes first before QB, don’t take it first as it will slow down your QB. Unless u want a picotin first and it’s the perfect color and hardware for u, then go for it. :)

TBH In all my years of shopping at H I have ever been asked directly or indirectly to stop spending while waiting for QB. I recently received my QB after a gap of 15 months from the last QB and during that period I continue to spend and buy what I like and my SA never discouraged me. Unless they don’t have what you want,I don’t understand why they would stop us from spending.

No SA will stop you from buying unless you are wondering where is your bag that you requested.

Exactly.. if I have something that I like and I want and I probably need? Why would one stop spending? Some items are seasonal.. doesn’t make sense at all. Frankly if it doesn’t count to the qb then can’t be helped.
 
This the only way I can wear with a scarf ring on a sweltering day… thank goodness for strong office aircon HAHAHA.

If I enjoy shopping with my SA, why would I want to change her?

Personally I don’t think she intentionally stood you up, could be her earlier customer took a long time/was late/was assigned by her manager / super vip etc. a lot of reasons why she overran her appt.
Granted she could have cut short the other customer’s time but maybe she felt you are the understanding sort?

Since it does affect you, perhaps let her know gently that while you can be understanding, you also hope this does not occur often as you really prefer to not rush through your shopping.
Can you ladies give me some pointers should I be angry that she was late for 20 mins for our appointment? Should I try to change SA or continue with her. I do enjoy spending my time browsing with her actually…
I agree with @skinnyepicurean that your SA must have had reasons why she was late for 20mins. I’m guilty too. I’m that customer who ate into someone’s appt a few times but that’s because my appts started late. My SA hurried me towards the end too. But give and take lah. There were times when my SA happily chats with me and “don’t let me go” too LOL. If you enjoy shopping with your SA, maybe don’t write her off so soon.

I doubt SAs want us to stop spending. It’s commission for them afterall. Only QBs don’t give them commission.

Lastly, 30K for non-QB qualifies you for a QB but in the whole scheme of things, you’re not a “big fish” customer either. I’ve been a client since March 2021 and I’ve received two QBs - one B25 Togo and one K25 Epsom. For my 1st QB I spent 21K non-bags plus another 25K on bags (total around 46k). My 2nd QB also around 21K for non-bags. Waiting for 3rd QB and around 42K spent for non-bags with additional 8K deposits put for FJ. Total spend since Mar 2021 inclusive of QBs, my prespend and FJ deposit is ~150K. I’m not a vip customer by the way. I know I’m not because I’ve non-vip friends who spend more.

You may have spent 30K but there’s someone else who spent 100K and another who spent 250K. Dont hold your SA hostage to you for 30K and threaten to switch SA. You’re not a big customer my dear. Yes she’s wrong for being late and I’m sure she apologised right? Give and take girl! But don’t let this be a habit and register your displeasure with your SA about you not liking being rushed tactfully

Many of us have waited for our SAs too. Many of us have been rushed but don’t take things so hard and so personally. It’s ok just chill and enjoy the H journey.
 
I was told to stop shopping locally by my SAs while waiting for QB when I follow up on my QB.

I also have heard stories that SAs refuse customer appointments and straight up inform them Low stock or nothing for them to buy.

When I was in France, for 3 stores in different cities, at the door they already informed me no bags for today. So, I don’t have to buy if i am buying to get any bags. I bought the things I like anyway.
