Last Saturday, it was packed when we went in late morning. Today, Friday, it was pleasantly busy…most SAs with customers and the SM out chatting with people.
Picked up the quilted jacket in the smaller size and will post pics in the RTW thread once I ‘unwrap’ the mysterious orange box under the tree 😉
@skybluesky hope your little one feels better and hope you stay in good health! I hear you about work/life, especially this time of year.

I would say bring it up with your SA and see what they say!
I had an 11 am appointment and it was already starting to get busy. The SAs seemed very lovely and not stressed by the hustle and bustle. While I waited a few minutes for my SA, I was asked by 3 SAs if I needed help and even had a pleasant conversation with another SA. I’ve always been treated respectfully by other SAs and asked if I needed help while waiting, but this is the first time I’ve had multiple ask me in quick succession of a minute or 2 apart hahaha. Clearly they were prepared for the influx of customers with all hands on deck and being efficient with taking care of customers.
I had one jacket to try on, but the 2 downstairs dressing rooms were constantly being used so I ended up using the smaller one upstairs, didn’t even know that existed lol. I was willing to just put on the jacket by the women’s shoe section and use the mirror there haha but my SA did a good job of keeping it a luxury experience with that smaller private dressing room.
RTW still is predominantly AW2024. I asked about some of the SS2025 but they haven’t arrived yet. For scarves it seems to be in - The Robe Légère triangle CSGM has arrived if anyone else is interested!
Display case changed as well. Forgive the poor quality. It was another sneaky picture lol. Looks like last week’s display bags must’ve found their happy homes! Although I’m actually not sure the fate of display bags - if they’re typically sold or shipped elsewhere to serve as display…would love to hear if other TPFers know about display bags
By 1230 when I was checking out, almost every part of our boutique had customers and their SAs except maybe the homeware section, which was a nice reprieve. It was a little unsettling how packed it was at this point. I was waiting for my SA to pack up my goodies and 2 different customers and their respective SAs then stepped up to the counter, no one was rude but there just wasn’t a lot of space so I awkwardly stepped to the side by the fragrances while my SA boxed everything up as quickly as she could.
Overall, it is always so fun seeing my SA and catching up. I was able to exchange my earrings (mini maillion noir/palladium that are not so mini and actually very heavy) and belt (chaine d’ancre 13 mm was too thin) that I got last week for silver very small farandole earrings and a Kelly belt, and got a few other goods I’ve been wanting in preparation for a work trip next month to Ireland. I also want to add that it was so nice to see a few other friendly smiling customers. Sometimes it can be an isolating shopping experience - I see other customers but they avoid eye contact lol. Maybe I’m coming on too strong
I’ve moved to the area a year ago and it’s hard making adult friends and especially those into luxury!But it was definitely very busy and not as leisurely of an experience as usual. Hopefully I get an A+ for my report @skybluesky

I could be wrong but I think the display bags go to new homes! I can see them going to another store or being swapped with another store. Just a guess. I love mini Evelynes but I don't love the new ones.
So glad you were able to exchange your items for other things you love. I really like my kelly belt, it's nice for dresses and I like that it's adjustable. I've only been to the upstairs changing room once, also would have never known it was there if I wasn't shown it. I am excited for the new RTW colors/textures so I'll wait for more of the new stuff to trickle in!

I so look forward to meeting my H family members, including you @Gin&H As you point out @skybluesky I can hardly just bring up my H obsession in casual conversation and most of my local friends have not yet caught the bug though not for lack of trying on my part!
Hoping that by January both @Gin&H and @EdgyBagsPlz have reached the post minimum and that others on this thread will join us for a meet up.
When I picked up my jacket on Friday, I saw a very elegant woman wearing a sweater dress from fall I think and carrying a gorgeous green Birkin (bambou I think)…if you’re here, you looked great! And I hope you come to the meet up!

I don't see many H bags out in the wild, outside of our store. I will wait for everyone to meet the 500 minimum! Lots of fun places on the entirety of purse forum to post! I have grown quite fond of our local "H family"!
