I went to the event too. To me, there were quite a few cute pieces. My gripe is…. For a luxury house like H, shouldn’t an “event” include, at the minimum, some champagne or small treats? It was underwhelming in the sense that it didn’t feel special, other than the RTW they pulled in.
Agree as well! It didn't really feel like an event.

I don't know who your SA is but mine never pushes for sales and explicitly tells me never to feel like I need to buy something during a visit. (However I've been going here since jan 2021 still with no B/K offer lol) I personally would really dislike that kind of pressure, but that's because I hate feeling like I'm disappointing people even if I know I'm in the right.

Need your opinion ladies, I have been working with my SA for about 7 months now spend $15k I was asked to come more often and this SA is a bit pushy about making sales. What would you ladies do? Is this normal?
Never had that experience at all with our SA either… I don’t think that is normal or the kind of SA I would want to work with.

Was your SA always like that? Or did something elicit such a response?

I dislike it too. She was nice in the beginning but changed after a few months. Personality is changes from being positive and if I dislike what I see she gives this type of look. I can’t explain. I used to go SF store and moved up here a few months ago.

I recently moved in Pnw March this year. I worked with an amazing SA in SF and never felt this kind of way.

She was nice at first, bought a few things here and there, I had to skip a month because I was busy with travel. I came to see her bought 2 fine jewelry worth almost $8k and when I asked about my wishlist she stops me and say we will talk about it when we get there. Is this normal? Should I bother talking to the manager?

Wow.. I don’t know about talking to the manager (maybe someone else with experience can chime in) but I personally would probably change SAs. Kinda sucks since you’ve already spent a good amount with this one though.

I’m sorry you’re going through this! You shouldn’t be made to feel this way. I’ve only been with my SA 3 months so maybe we’re in the “honeymoon” phase but she hasn’t been pushy for sales.

Not that it condones your SA’s actions… but is your wishlist a highly sought after item and she’s trying to push your spend to be more competitive?

That’s what Im thinking too and Im trying to understand because it’s their job right to make sales. but to be pushy though?

I want a b25 or k25 neautral color. What are the typical pre-spend at this store?

This is so rough, because of the amount you've already spent. That's one reason I started slow, because I wanted to know if this sort of thing was for me. I personally look forward to seeing my SA every single time; going in should be a treat. You should feel good about it, and feel like you can be honest if something isn't your taste, that's how the SA will learn your taste and also be able to offer their advice without you thinking they're just trying to push a sale. For example, sometimes my SA says "that's too big for you", or "if it's not comfortable, don't buy it, it's okay don't worry", and it makes me trust them more to have my interests as a customer at heart.

I think you might reach out to a different SA and see if you click with them, and maybe if you do, you can explain the situation you're in and ask their advice? I've never had this situation though so take any advice I have with a massive grain of salt.

EDIT: Those are also my wishlist items and like I said, I've been waiting almost 4 years, but I'm a lower spender. However, even though my wishlist items are competitive, my SA still notes them and agrees they're absolutely the right size for me being under 5 feet tall. I have heard the spend ratio at this store is incredibly high so maybe she's trying to get you there but it sure makes the experience unpleasant. You should enjoy each piece you buy.

I am sorry you are going through this. It seems like this SA is a mismatch for you. Unfortunately it's tough to switch SAs at this point since you have already spent a significant amount and have worked with him/her for 7 months now.

I not justifying the behavior, but I wonder if they just have a different personality than you are used to in a SA. We all would probably agree that SAs shouldn't be pushy but maybe their way of encouraging you, makes you feel pushed. For example "that looks so great on you, you should really buy it." to some may feel like a compliment, to some may be received as pushy.

This store has a fairly high spend for a bag at this point. I would guess you are not even half way there. So is it possible that the SA was just trying to be direct and say, we should discuss this when you are closer, because your wishlist may change over the next year or two, so we should only narrow it down when I can actually offer you something?

Thank you. Appreciate the advice. I wish I have your SA. Hopefully it will get better. Fingers crossed. I hope you get yours too soon.
