Curious if anyone read the recent Reddit post about our store and your thoughts. It was quite the 💣 post.
I read the comments..but the OP was deleted..not sure what that stated. The comments didn't seem too favorable. I have shopped at that location pre-covid, and I had a pleasant experience with a hand written note followup from the SA...those days could be long gone I guess?!

The OP named a specific SA that was rude to them including both first and last name which is why it was deleted, I assume.

OP shops at a different store but was on vacation here. She asked for sandals but they did not have in her size, then she asked SA if they would order them online and ship to her and SA said something like "why not just get at your home store". She did mention the SAs full name. Complaining that she got terrible service and the SA was so rude to her.

I agree with SA, why do an online order and ship to someone who does not even shop at the store?

I concur..if it is not her home store, why would the SA go to great lengths to help her? I understand there is no need to be rude..but if a customer is in the "Hermès Game", they should know better. It's one thing if you are on vacy in a different country..I had great customer service at the Milan airport..but I also didn't expect them to bend over backwards for me!

I saw the post and thought it was quite distasteful. I understand where the OP was coming from but in this day and age, it's dangerous to disclose an SA's (or any one) full name and the company & store they work at on an anonymous platform. It's surprising what details people online can find out with just basic information. If the goal of the OP was to steer prospective clients away, perhaps a description of what the SA was wearing, hair color, etc. would have been better IMO.

Unfortunately, the comment section agreed with the OP that the store is terrible which was upsetting because it did not sound like the store that I've come to know and enjoy but totally respect their experiences/opinions.

Agree! Name dropping the SA on a public platform was a huge violation of privacy and security. I was shocked it was up there for as long as it was. I understand the frustration with the H game, but I swear people need to go outside and touch grass sometimes.

My first time at the Bellevue store (as a walk in) was similar to the Reddit post. The first SA that approached me was great but unfortunately she had to leave for an appointment. Another SA took over and she was very cold and hurried me out, which felt very uncomfortable.Thankfully at my second trip to the store, I met my current SA and she's great to work with.

I'm around 12-15K currently and hearing these stories make me wonder if it is worth continuing here, or if I should find another store during vacations.

While I do not track my spending, I'm pretty sure I had spent no more than that when I got my first offer. That being said, everyone's experience is totally different due our personalities, the SAs' personalities, availability of bags, our desired specs, etc.

Of course, I also don't travel to another city with an H boutique often enough to make that idea feasible.

How long have you been shopping with your SA? Not sure if that figure includes any leather items but for reference, I got my first kelly 28 after spending around 15k (including a bearn compact wallet and a calvi) in about 6 months. Definitely agree with @tinkerbell68 that everyone's experience is different and there are so many variables.

I have noticed the resell prices for birkins and kellys have gone down so it might be an option to consider. I recently saw a pristine grey kelly 28 for around 16k which really had me debating!

Whatever you decide, good luck!

Honestly same, saw a gorgeous b25 for $19k at resale, and it appeals to me more and more considering current prespend. Esp since you have the agency to decide color, leather, hw, etc. but all the stories about ppl buying fakes from reputable resellers freaks me out lol

Totally agree! My SO keeps telling me enough with this game and just go to a reseller - but I am terrified of the super fakes out there.

I've been with them for close to 9 months. The spend is not including a wallet and a bag I bought from the website, but does have a belt (not sure if that's counted as well).

Actually during my last appointment, I brought up wanting a Kelly 28 and we discussed colors and leather options in detail. They said they'd keep an eye out for me, but no mention of wishlist or anything 'official' written down, so honestly have no idea. Luckily I enjoy certain items and have a wishlist to go through, so for now I don't mind spending.

The resell route sounds attractive but I'm not in a big hurry + would rather spend money on getting items I love rather than a markup. 🤷

My SA at Bellevue does not write anything down or call what I want for a bag a "wishlist", so maybe that is how some of the SAs do it here. They always remember what I told them though!
