Please forgive me if this is the wrong place for me, but I have no idea where I should ask that kind of question. I was given a Giverny yellow mousseline scarf for Christmas '06. At that time, I thought it was nice, and didn't question it. However, I am now trying to built a better wardrobe, and be careful about the colors I pick, and I've realised that my scarf doesn't look good on me at all.
So, I would like to sell it, and I'm trying to find out how much it's worth.

Here are pictures of the whole scarf, of parts containing name, copyright and label, and finally one picture of the sides of the bottom left corner: there are stains there (couldn't remove them). They are almost invisible, unless you hold the scarf in front of you with the light on your back.

Thank you in advance for any help you could give me.

Hi Melora,

It is very hard, really impossible, to judge "worth". The two ways I use (to approximate) are:

In Ebay, do an advanced search on completed auctions using Giverny hermes (you can refine the search with mousseline.

Google it with all three words. Sometimes this will turn up auction prices.

Maybe the best way to sell it is to consign it to Jan (sdsurfchick) at Its-all-goode.com

Hope this helps!

Thanks for answering me Jahna. I already tried to search on google, and only found pictures posted on this forum!
It seems nobody ever sold it in mousseline on ebay.
I have no idea how mousseline and silk compare in price when brand new since it seems H is not currently selling any PM mousseline. I don't know how much the stains affect the value. If nobody wants a scarf with that kind of stains, i might as well keep it!

FYI - it is against TPF policy to give advice on prices for re-selling so there is no "right thread" for this. There is a possibility your post will be deleted or edited.

I have another question, and I think it's quite a challenge --unless you know every scarf by heart!
I've noticed that the bracelet match the scarf collection. So I'm curious to see the scarves matching my bracelets. Except that of course (!) I have no idea when I got them, and the name of the scarf does not appear on the bracelet (that would be too easy!).

If anyone recognized one of the designs, I'll be thrilled! If not, I'll keep enjoying them the same way ;)

Thanks!

the left is "musique des dieux". see scarf below.
I dont recognize the other one. They dont always correspond to a scarf design, tho most do.

You're the best!! thanks :)))

After scratching my head really hard, I figured that the time when I saw the second in the window of an Hermès shop while on vacation, and fell in love with it instantly, was probably spring 2002. That led me to Au gré du vent, even if I couldn't find it in light pink.

I wonder if the second bracelet is from "Reve de Gloria", Gloria Petyarr, 2009?

Can someone help me identify the name of this scarf? The colorway names would be great too if you know what they are. Much appreciated!
