Hi Seton! Happy Holidays!!
I have another scarf question please! I saw an Hermes scarf labeled Le Roy Soleil which I understand is an Annie F design from 1994, in a consignment shop and in a navy blue background with red and gold. But after doing some research online I couldn't find if it did come in that colorway. I have seen blue with gold but not that. Do you know if it did come in that colorway??? Does anyone know? I haven't seen anyone on TPF model it. Thank you for any input!!

navy/red/gold is a pretty common colorway for most designs in the 70s/80s/90s.
Here is the navy/red/gold Roy Soleil

Does anyone know the significance of the copyright symbol being either to the left or right of the lettering Hermes Paris ?
I've seen it on both now and wondered what exactly it means ?

I dont think there is any particular significance.
Generally, the copyright after the H-P is older form than before the H-P but I've seen the copyright also under the H-P and floating far away from the H-P.

I'm unsure if this is the correct place for this question, but...
I understand that to this time, 43 is the highest number of screens for a single scarf. I repeatedly see it referred to as the Charity scarf, released in 2006. Please, what is the name of this scarf? Thanks!

Wa'ko-ni (2012) currently has the highest number of screens at 46.

I hope that you can help me, I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this question.

I recently purchased two, I hoped, Hermes scarves. But now, I'm a bit concerned that they are not genuine. Is there any way at all that you could tell me from these pictures whether or not you think that this is the case. Both appear to be missing Hermes (c) in the corner. I am aware that not all older designs will have the (c) but I thought that all Sextants would as I believe they were first introduced in 1981. If you could also tell me if you know whether the pink scarf is an authentic design, I would be most grateful, I cannot find it anywhere.

Thanks so much!

This thread is for identifying scarf designs as it says in the title and first post. I will ID the pink scarf for u but for questions of authentication, u will have to go to this thread, follow the instructuions in first post and take closeup pix.

Anyway, ur pink scarf is called "Cordelieres", even though the title is not on your scarf obviously. It is from 1975 and I can see the (c) after the "PARIS" which is in keeping with the period.

Same for your Sextants: the (c) is after the PARIS.

Thank you so so much, I really appreciate your help! I couldn't find the name of the pink one anywhere. :) Happy New Year

Hi all! I've been lurking/reading for the past week. Still not sure if this is the best thread to ask my questions, but what the heck. Gotta jump in somewhere.

I inherited two H scarves from my MIL, who passed earlier this year. I wore one to my daughters' naming recently and figured it was time to learn something about these new treasures. I've been able to gather a lot of info using their identifying marks, tPF, and HSCI, but still have some questions. Some of which will need to be answered by my FIL at another time.

The first one is "Rhythm of China" in a black/vibrant multi cw. I'm guessing this was part of the ~2010 reissue and likely purchased in Paris, but I haven't seen many other pics of this scarf in this cw, mostly more monochromatic versions. Was this cw part of the 2010 reissue?

The second is a plissé version of "Early America" in a dark blue/red cw. I can't find info on this particular combo. Any idea when it was issued?

Thanks!

Yes.

Hi Seton,.. Happy New Year!

Can you confirm if KO's Le Canada has ever been reissued?
I am considering buying one but cannot find too many ref to LC. It has brown and red borders. For some reason the ocean color is different shade of blue than other LC I have seen. Thought I ask this one question before sending the pix to authenticators. Thanks a bunch!
