Hallo!

I would kindly ask you for your help. I recently bought a beautiful scarf named "Sous Bois" and I would like to know more about this design. Maybe somebody knows the date of issue? I already tried to find out but I don't think that mine was issued in 1954 (http://piwigo.hermesscarf.com/picture?/749/search/57039). The seller told me that it was a special issue for Harrods. Is it a rare design? I was searching the Internet but unfortunately I couldn't find many pictures of "Sous Bois".

Many tanks in advance for your kind help!

your scarf is from the 1970s.
It is probably NOT a special edition for Harrods, but obviously still bought at Harrods, hence the department store label.
HTH.

Dear All,

Does anyone know what type of scarf this is, and how to wear it? Purchased it from a reseller and she said it's a limited/ seasonal edition. It's in two different materials, and is stitched in the mid-section.

Thank you:smile1:

Could you tell me what the year of issue is for this Jouvence Jacquard? I borrowed the pictures from the seller, but I received the scarf today if you need to see something specific. The real color looks more like a cantaloupe color than orange or peach. These photos look almost beige. Gorgeous scarf, but again, I'm a lunatic about wanting to know the year of issue. All I've found is the first year of issue was 1968, but I know this one isn't that old. Thanks in advance! :smile1:

It's either from 1988 or 1997.
1997 definitely had fireworks jacquard. Dunno if 1988 did.

By the way, I received your PM. I would appreciate it if u wait 24 hrs before PMing me with ur request next time, if there is one.

Thanks. About the PM, as I said, I wasn't sure how often you frequent this thread since your last post was in July, so I didn't realize I was overstepping any boundaries. Sorry. :shrugs:

Hi,

I am so glad I found this forum. I recently bought a preowned Paridaiza (blue) scarf, similar to this one on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hermes-Pari...90942?pt=US_Scarves_Wraps&hash=item2a3034c45e

All features - the silk, signature and the title match what is out on the web for authenticated sites. The Hermes-Paris has an accent on the 2nd E. However, the copyright Hermes, doesn't have an accent on the 2nd E - same as the one on the link.

Is this an exception, maybe? I think I also found another picture on the web, on an "authentic" auction site, that sold a different color and there is also no accent on the 2nd E for the copyright.

Hoping you experts can ease my mind!

Thanks,

Hi, I think this is more a question for the Authentication thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/authenti...s-scarf-rtw-please-read-rules-use-792303.html
This thread is more for ID scarf designs but to answer your question, if all other indicators are good, it should be okay. Missing graves (the accent over the E) has been known to happen.
