I was bidding for a ""Couvertures et Tenues de Jour" silk scarf yesterday but was sniped out. I attach some pictures of the scarf from the Ebay auction. I'd like to know what this colourway is called and in what year this CW was issued? Also has this scarf been issued in some other "neutral" colours? Thanks in advance for your help!

I am trying to figure out if I have an authentic "L'Elegance et le confort en automobile" scarf. It is signed by the artist, (Latham), and the care tag and rolled hem look good. I am suspicious though, because the copyright does not have the accent grave over the second e. Does anyone have this scarf? Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

^ I think it is called Chantilly, but there are two different designs with this title ? I hope someone with more knowledge will chime in.

I do not have it, but if you can post pictures, we can help. I have a dim memory that this may be one missing the accent, but have not found a photo to verify the dimmness..... its a cool carre though!

Attelages is correct.

There are lots of carres with attelages in the title, but I think this one is referred to simply as Attelages, and can be found in the databases under that name...

Thank you friponne and CobaltBlu! The picture of the scarf in the database (I assume that we are referring to the same database) was so tiny so I wasn't sure and if searching for "Chantilly" it will also appear! I wonder when it was issued and who designed it?
