My vote is 'golf', next voter ? :reading:

It says SWING but the only Swing I can find pics are the couple dancing. Has anyone else posted pics of this plisse or knows what it is called? I found reference to it being connected to the Dinah Shore golf tournament in PS, but no picture...:confused1:

The dancing couple is Swinging St. Germain IIRC, while this one with the clubs is just "Swing." I guess when you have released as many designs as H has, the names start to overlap a little.... not so good for us collectors, makes it impossible to keep stuff straight LOL!!

Thank you Tangle and Elle Tee and Contrefacons! I take great comfort in the fact that none of you said  to the plisse! I took a great chance and bought it after checking prior selling history and watching it until the end. It arrived today and I think it's beautiful! My only concern is that I can't find pictures of it as a plisse, nor with a black border....If I mucked up big time, PLEASE let me know!!!:heart::heart:

Brennamom, I'm glad you like your new plisse!
As to the black border question, I'm not familiar enough with the CWs of this design to answer, you'd need a guru like Seton or Marietouchet to tell you there.
As for not finding pics of it in a plisse, I can help you there. Personally I would not let that detail deter me, since Hermes does custom pleating so it is possible for *any* twill scarf to become a plisse. Some designs are issued by H in plisse in large quantities, so you're more likely to see them. Others, just a few plisses are floating around, while still others were done to order, so you might only see one or two, ever.

I would not worry - it is so hard to find worthwhile pix of plisse scarves. The photos of them all spread out on a table are sort of worthless if you want to know how they will look on you and that depends do you pooch out the pleats or not ???
For myself, I never pouch out the pleats since that has been known to sometimes pooch them out permanently

^^ I look there AND here, Brennamom, here for IDs and there for authentication. I saw your recent posts and answered there....

The couple dancing is Swinging St Germain. Your plisse is lovely!! Congratulations!

Hi - anyone knows about this scarf, called 'Scala'?
TIA!
