It’s a 90 cm, called L’Inflexible. There may be some details in « blanc mat ».

I did not find any signature. I would love to have some background informations if anyone has knowledge about it.

TIA!

Mine is Hugo Grygkar's 'La Marine en Bois' (I have it in a pale pink) maybe it changed name

L'Inflexible is one of the six French nuclear submarines. I have special editions issued for two of them. Perhaps H did scarves for all 6? Must consult Prof Google :smartass:
You are totally right! Fun fact : my FIL has been on the Inflexible for a short visit! I asked my MIL if the scarf was related to this but it was not the case.
Dear @papertiger, the scarf is from my DH’s great-mother collection. She stopped buying in the late 1960’s according to my MIL.

That'ssuch a coincidence!

Mine is from the original 1957 edition (my second oldest scarf).

I guess, have a look and see if there was a ship also called Inflexible and for a second/special edition in the 1960s.

You could also ask Hermes' archives.

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes…

Does anyone know if Tyger, Tyger by Alice Shirley was ever issued as a cashmere/silk 140? I don’t think so, but would love to have confirmation. TIA

There are H archives? We always complain that there is no such thing, and @marietouchet always says no one keeps records. What are these archives and how can we storm them? LOL
