Dear all, my apologies if I am on the wrong thread, but I would be grateful for your help with identifying the year (and oerhaps also the official colourway of this scarf. I believe it to be a cashmere/silk “Tourbillon” from the end of the ’80s, but cannot find any trace of it when searching the Internet generally. Many thanks!

I could find that it's from Christiane Vauzelle, first issued in 1968, reissued in 1985
Unsure about the colorway as i couldn't find it Search results | HSCI Hermes Scarf Photo Catalogue
Many thanks - I would be grateful for any additional information, if ever you come across more . I believe it is a pre-90s edition (it does not have the copyright within one of the leaves on the upper middle-left row) and cashmere scarves are so much harder to trace than the silk ones, in my experience…
Best regards,

I've seen it before in another bay listing, another cw. It was described there as a cotton pareo.

ETA: I've also seen this SS Hermes ship used in a beach towel design.

I have not seen this one before. Seller says it feels like cotton and is 65” x 53”. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I tried looking for S.S. Hermes but found nothing. I really like it. Thanks

I have a cotton pareo in that design but in a red, white and blue colourway. Quite an old design now as I think I bought mine in 1999.

I purchased this shawl on TRR and just received it. I really like it. But I do not ever recall seeing it in the large size all silk format?

It’s not the summer weight, nor is it the heavy weight silk. It seems to be the weight of normal 90s.

What do you think? I’d appreciate your thoughts.

No, 140cm silk was not a format it was issued. The Three Graces was only issued in the 90cm, 140cm CSGM, 45cm gavroches and twillys.
