Can someone confirm or finesse the identification of this men’s gav/pocket square? @marietouchet perhaps?

I can’t find anything worded “Constellation Feux de Routes” by P. Peron; however, I have seen a different ship-themed “Feux de Route” version “Apericus” (hopefully I spelled that correctly). I like the scarf, reminds me of my dad trying to teach me constellations, referring to his Navy days WWII.

it is generally held to be authentic, by Peron, but I dont think anyone has any definite info on it , no name , date

I'd be interested in this identification too. I used to think it was a combi of the Constellation gav (blue gav in centre pic) and the ships from Feux de Route Apercus la Nuit en Mer, but now I believe the constellations are taken from Hemisphaerium Coeli Boreale. The ships do look like a variation of those on la Nuit en Mer.

Thank you for perspectives both you and @marietouchet ...and spelling assist!

Hello PF readers! My husband while traveling recently sent me a picture of this blue twilly that he saw at the Taipei store in Bellavita. Unfortunately he did not ask the SA for the name but took a picture as he thought I might like it. I would love to add it to my collection as well as see what other colours it comes in. Hoping someone can help identify this twilly! Thank you in advance!

Here’s a web link from the Finland hermes site for the reference number!

FYI I saw it on the USA site this morning :)

I’m not sure if there’s a better thread for this (please direct me if so) but does anyone have any more mod shots of the champignons scarf in blue? I’ve found the one below but would love to see more. I’ve also tried searching the forum but no luck. Thanks! :flowers:

PS only ever done as a gavroche - never any other format
Ps rummaging around the intl copyright database wipo.com, I found the 1999 registration for the design , no title was cited , gavroches were registered without titles or artists - at the time , the only other info there is how long the registration lasts ie when H has to renew it, I don’t remember that date , but, FYI the registration has expired on many designs
Pps there is no such thing as a universal registration, there are many other databases eg usa
Ppps there is a difference between registration and issuance - coming out in silk, the dates may be far apart , s9me designs have been shelved for decades , registration does not guarantee issuance
Ppps - lol - got url wrong www3.wipo.int
Pppps this is silly ... try https://www3.wipo.int/designdb/en/index.jsp , weird database url but gimme credit for checking the url lol

I used to own that exact cw, and no longer own any md shots, but , well,I sold it on the grounds of being too blue - as in your photo, I i went to a 1980s cw with all the colored mushrooms
That issue had one exquisite cw, not for everyone , black and brights, psychedelic mushrooms , the other cws were very monochrome

Funny you should mention the monochrome CWs. That is one of the reasons I liked the design, the CWs were monochromatic. The design itself reminds me of my childhood hunting for mushrooms. Sadly, I don’t remember enough to go out now. Looking at the scarf, I just want to grab a field guide to identify them!!

You are welcome, kind of an interesting question.

The mono cws sometimes do/do not speak to me. I have a JUNGLE LOVE in all navy/cobalt but I think the mono works really well with the leopard spots. Leopard spots grab your attention and the restricted palette tones them down
The mushrooms design has smaller motif which works differently in mono. I think the details of the blue mushrooms fade into a blue haze.
To be honest, I had to have the original cw, with the red and white poisonous amanita mushroom, a must have for me. Then I agonized for years over which border color, I had the dark pink, cf infra - decided that did not work, the mushrooms pop a bit too much ?
Then inspiration came ... I got the brown cw, brown border, and light brown field - dirt colored worked ! SO GO FIGURE, it is almost a mono cw ! (as I contradict myself about liking the mono cws ...)

Dirt works with mushrooms—sounds a naturally perfect combo!

The brown one is fabulous! Wow!:flowers:
Also the monotone jungle love sounds wonderful too. That may explain why I prefer jungle love in dip dye and the neutral JL rainbow. Beautiful scarves you have shown.:flowers:
