Hello. How would I identify these scarves? Would you consider these to be in excellent condition? I know one is something like 40 years old. My grandmother left them to me and I would like to know the value. Thanks!

I cannot authenticate or tell you what these would be worth in terms of value - you need to find someone much more knowledgable than me for that. But these 2 designs are actually quite easy to name so at least I can do that...

The first is Napoleon which is IMO one of the iconic Hermes scarf prints. An interesting write-up for it can be found here: https://www.napoleon.org/en/history-of-the-two-empires/objects/the-napoleon-scarf-by-hermes/

The other is a lesser known scarf but luckily it has its name written on it - Les Perles de Turkana.

HTH!

I'd be interested in this identification too. I used to think it was a combi of the Constellation gav (blue gav in centre pic) and the ships from Feux de Route Apercus la Nuit en Mer, but now I believe the constellations are taken from Hemisphaerium Coeli Boreale. The ships do look like a variation of those on la Nuit en Mer.

Truly love this little scarf, agreeing with @xincinsin ID suggestions and sharing a couple photos upon receipt. Can be worn very low-key or showing off the brighter aspects.

Does anyone know anything about this? It is new to me but in excellent shape. It’s navy and black silk and leather. The box is ridiculously large.

I'm guessing you bought yours from TRR. I don't remember the date but 2019 seems a bit recent.

The 140 is on Poupishop in the sale
"Jacquard/Faconnee silk model Sangles and bordered with... lambskin"

Apparently it's Bleu Nuit and you can see it's a jacquard. Made in Italy.

You have a great eye and are correct. The TRR listing said 2019 but usually when they are that recent you can find something online. I did reverse image searching and used a few different terms but didn’t see anything.
That poupishop 140 is gorgeous, thank you for sharing, as there are more details in that listing.

I have the same maxi twilly. Unfortunately, I no longer know its exact name. I do remember that the jacquard design is a twist on the Eperon D'or Bandana.

Thank you! I love learning about the designs.

You have an exceptional memory. I went through the box and underneath they had the care card hidden. You were right about the Eperon D’Or!
