I'm curious what design this scarf is, can anyone tell? Thanks for referring me to this thread @bunnycat - like you I suspect Cliquetis but I can't get a good enough look and the colorway doesn't look like anything I've seen, with the grays mixed in.

Maybe someone can get a better look than I can, but the overlapping bits (as in horse bits) on the edges are like Cliquetis. Maybe @marietouchet or @Pautinka have a thought?

Looks like Cliquetis - but can't tell if it's real, so either Cliquetis or a Cliquetis knockoff!

Hi! I received this scarf and I would like to know the name of the scarf if possible please. I usually tag my scarves with their names for organization sake :)

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what the scarf is that is tied around her neck? It probably should be Tout en Carre or Pappillons, but I can't make either fit with the diagonal white stripe on the ends... very confused :annoyed: maybe it is a very clever way to tie from the center?

Yes, it’s Tout en Carre, probably tied from the center.

Hi BBC, I thought that too, as it says in the booklet, but I can't figure out how it would tie with the points like that (as the points of the 90 have that grey square. I also thought maybe some clever folding on the long edge could have that "diagonal" white stripe...

If it’s in the booklet next to the design, that’s what it is. [emoji254]
It does look like they messed with the scarf, though.

I agree with your idea....though there may be more than one in the pic.

Aha! I bet you are right, that there may be two. It would be a LOT easier to understand. With only one, I am stuck trying to figure out the detail of the black, and how the saddle fits so nicely at the neck. What I really like is the complex pattern at the neck with the bold white/red on the ends. Sigh. Now I have to find TWO red Tout en Carré :annoyed::sad:

Sorry! Which booklet is that? I may have it....will try to figure out what they did there. [emoji8]

The booklet says, "Ci-dessus carré, Ci-contre pointu" which means "Above image, carré,opposite page, pointu". It also mentions (if my eyes don't deceive me), "papillon". A nœud papillon is a bow tie but I can't see one there. Perhaps the original image would show it better or perhaps it is a description of the blouse?

It looks like they made an ascot with the scarf. I'll check my ascots later to compare how H cuts the scarf material. The vest top on the model also looks tailored and not tied from scarves.
Update: my ascots are straight-cut, not pointy.
