I can see the two pointus tied together to make the halter, thanks to the lovely diagram above.

Still can't figure out the neck piece unless they used a larger scarf, folded the corners into the centre to make a smaller square and then bias folded that somehow? I think that could work....

Maybe like this? Not sure it would go around my neck. I'll have to try it later

Like this, with the shaded parts folded under, then biasfold....perhaps they tied two of those together as well....

Maybe two for the chest, but what the heck is around her neck?

PS excellent job on the diagram [emoji1360][emoji1360][emoji1360]
I have no idea about what's round her neck, but the more I look at it, the more I want it :giggle:
In the playground of my mind, I even wondered if (noeud papillon minus noeud) = (bow tie minus bow) and so we are looking at a couple of neckties. No, maths wasn't my fave subject.

I have a question concerning Vladimir Rybalchenko's carre Cavalier d'Or

I see several references to the first issue being both 1951 and 1975.

Mine has a similar tag (100% Soie) to my first issue Plumes (1953) and it has a similar weight and softness. My late '60s scarves already have a different sort of label with the little symbols.

Can anyone can help with this. I'm guessing if anyone (like me) has to look it up he/she will see both dates. Usually I can rely on the catalogue PIWIGO but in this case I'm not so sure. Does anyone have a pre-1970s version?

I may be wrong about this, but I thought Vladimir Rybaltchenko was born in 1939, which would make a 1951 scarf design date very precocious!

Hi!!:wave:I don't need a scarf identified as much as I would like a suggestion on a scarf. I am looking for a PM mousse line but in a black and white colourway. Would anyone know any designs that may have been produced in black and white?

Also does anyone know where the code for the battery park scarf is? I remember someone posted a picture of the tag. I am going to H next week and would like to ask for one. Thank you!

I hope this was posted in the right thread!!!

Hi Julide  Maybe try a google search of "hermes black white mousseline". I just did the same, and then chose the "images" link that pops up. Produces lots of Hermes black/white scarf images...not all are PM, or even black/white (as these sort of searches go), but perhaps somewhere to start! Good luck! :flowers:
