Was just searchingfor something similar.
Thanks for looking.

Agree with Seton , it is not Hermes. But there are many Hermes scarves that look like this
:
Anything with the word Harnais in the title
Lots by Metz: Tambours, Tuileries, yeah Tuileries is a must !
Misc titles Etriers, Maillons , Ferronerie
Lots of the 1980s - 1990s issues had a lot of gold in the metalwork

Oh, thank you so much, that's a big help!
I think I mentioned, I have owned two Hermes scarf before but ended up selling both. They were gorgoeus designs but just did not work for me. I am slowly learning :smile1:

Just a friendly reminder to please not use this thread to hint at or ask about authenticity under the guise of "what scarf is this?" The scarf authenticators do not want to comment on private sale or currently owned items.

Thanks for your understanding.

i am looking for background info on "trois feuilles" by catherine baschet.
i am mostly trying to understand what the artist wanted to tell us... :wondering
for some reason, i am also associating it with an asian theme - not sure why i am making this connection...

You are in the wrong thread but I'll answer. You are probably not going to find any info bc there wasn't any available for this scarf. "trois feuilles" means "Three Leaves". What does the three leaves in the middle of the scarf mean? I don't know but I dont see anything inherently or vaguely asian about it. JMO.

Hi Seton!

This is just a thought in the dark, but in Taoism, "three" can mean a lot;
Power, Virtue, Integrity
also...
The Way of Man
The Way of Heaven
The Way of the Universe

Since Baschet has done "Les Beaux Jours de Bonsai", "Le Fleuve Sacre", ...who knows...
