Does anyone have any information about this dress? Material? It seems relatively thin.
What size does it run? The website says to size down. Any experience?

I tried on the dress yesterday and wasn't that impressed at first. It was a lot of fabric. As expected, it made me look even fuller than I am (German size 40). But! You can also tie the belt at the back, which allows the fabric to lie flat at the front, creating a good silhouette.
The material is great and not see-through. Love the pattern.

I like a lot of H RTW, and tried some of this stuff on, but this season is particularly great for taller people (I’m short 5’2”
The shearlings can add bulk. Some pants and jackets can cut an shortie off at the ankle or hip :(

The one piece I purchased so far, the short synthetic cardigan, does go with a lot of RTW — here all Hermes — from prior seasons. It’s a basic with potential for great cost per wear. ETA: pants in pics 1-3 are men’s RTW that have been taken in a bit, size 38. The women’s RTW are usually size 36.

I agree, I'm also short (5'4") and felt like this season would suit taller ladies better. The short cardigan looks lovely on you!

Picked up some nice pieces from Paris and my jumpsuit and tuxedo jacket were back from alterations! Luckily done very well!

My favorite piece- organza trench with leather accents from SS25 runway. Ordered it at the re-see and it just arrived. I think it’ll be great as a light jacket for spring. Also can be worn as a dress, not sure how lol.

Cashmere wrap cardigan/coatigan also from SS25 runway. Super cozy. It ties in the back or you can wear it open.

Has a cute buckle detail at the waist. I didn’t even realize I took a 38 until now but it fits very comfortably lol.

Hello! Can anyone who owns this dress or tried it own share their thoughts? Thank you!
I have the version from 2 years ago- the sleeves are more of a cap, but outside of that, it is the exact same dress. There was no noir that season, so mine is a very deep navy.

I've worn it multiple times, last was last week, as it can be dressed up slightly, quite a bit or not at all, depending on shoes, jewelry etc. It has worn quite well, no pulls or pilling of the cashmere. It's also really an all year round dress, as its great in the summer, but with a 140 scarf over it ( or another wrap) easily used in cooler temps. Classic design, very fluid, moves well when you walk and drapes well standing. Mine hangs a bit longer than in the photo, as I'm ( on a good day) 5'2" - but I like to think the line of the dress makes me look taller.

Think you can tell- I'm a fan!
Edit to add- note that the neck is cut a bit lower, and actually fits more comfortably and ( I think flatteringly) than many of the round necked cashmeres. Not tight at all, and therefore, any length necklace works.

Too bad I missed you in Paris this time! Looks like you had an amazing time! :)
