She noticed some threads coming out and some peeling. We took it to our boutique and they sent it to Paris.

We were disappointed to find out that H can't fix it stating that the fabric is sensitive and implying that it's our fault for not taking care of it. They offered us to clean it for a price even though it doesn't require any cleaning.

We have faced some issues with runway pieces in the past like finding a sewing needle in one of the skirts. We are very disappointed with the quality of H RTW given the hefty price they are asking for.

wait am I reading this right? you found a SEWING NEEDLE in a skirt you purchased??!

My SA said she thinks it’s raw denim and there is also a denim trouser ( @ari posted it in #6040 on the previous page)

Here is the skirt (apparently I would lose too much of the shape if it was shortened) and a pair of pants (they’re checking to see if they can be lengthened a bit)

ETA: IMO only, rhe palefroi silk is not as lustrous as the mosaic, ex libris, or finesse of prior seasons. The skirt also has some open stitching that (with my carelessness) could easily snag (see second pic above the tag)

If the pants came in etoupe, I would have bought them; they do come in a light purple gray (like these shorts below) I’m wearing a 36 in the shorts, but I prefer the looser 38 for these pants and last seasons carot pants

I have this skirt and love it. The interlaced hem stitch is one of my favourite details! Because it’s winter where I am, I have been styling it with chunky boots and a black cashmere knit.

I also have those trousers in black. They are an absolute workhorse in my wardrobe; especially great for travel. Great cost per wear!

I am a bit taller than you I think (I’m 5’6) and I agree that both garments would be easier to fit on a taller frame. The pants are a cropped length on me without alteration.

They both suit you-but I Love the trousers!
I hope that they can be shortened..they look terrific❤️

The pants and skirt look fabulous on you!!! Good point about the open stitching…on the skirt. I definitely would worry about snagging it and causing it to unravel. Also, you’re not helping my resolve to camp out on ban island 🏝️! Lol
