How about silk shirts? I recently bought the en disordre finesse button up silk shirt in etoupe and already got some smudge on it with the first wear 🙄. I’ve dabbed it with damp towel using a diluted baking soda mix. Looks better but could use a wash. Curious to know how others take care of H silk clothing. TIA!!

I use silk detergent and soak the garment in cold water for 30 min. Rinse and lay flat to dry. Iron afterwards if there’s wrinkles.

I’m clumsy with this kind of thing so I dry clean as needed

I always take silk to the dry cleaner first. The problem with silk is that it feels different over time (it gets softer) and I don't like that. Silk scarves in particular get really soft over time. That doesn't happen after washing it once or twice, but if you do it more often.

I have a cute story that only you guys would understand. I wore my new coat from Hermes this week (the one i posted about a few weeks ago). My son, who is 19 and never notices what I am wearing, complimented my coat out of the blue. This is a rare occurrence, like spotting a unicorn. :eek:Once he felt the cashmere sleeve he smirked and then asked me if it came in an orange box (he's paying far more attention than I give him credit). Naturally, I am flabbergasted as he never complimented any of my other designer pieces... but apparently H stands out even to teenagers! Who knew! :lol:

Been wanting a long sleeve cardigan for the longest time. Got this one in rose pale. It is literally very pale hence hard to style. Of course, i made it work wearing all white underneath so as not to look like sleepwear lol. Also it is a bit too long both on length and sleeves for my height. Sz 34 is still a bit wide on the shoulders. I wonder if there was a sz 32, it wouldve been a better sleek fit. But oh well, i still love it. In bright lighting the color is so cute and dainty :heart:
