Dearies,

After your very helpful information, I asked the store about the alteration charge for my leather jacket. Management’s response was that this could be a more complicated alteration, so it couldn’t be waived. This “complicated alteration” was in fact only sleeves shortening.

Since I originally didn’t object to it when I was first quoted, I decided to let this go and said no more.

Now I’m happy to report that after 3 months wait, the jacket is back and it’s free of charge!! lol

I'm so glad it ended up free of charge! Did they send it to Paris? Or was that just the wait time? It also took me 3 months to get my trench coat back after just alterations for shortening sleeves.

Doing a high low look. My new pajama pants in Vert Bouteille with a blouse from Aritzia. The pants are a gorgeous forest green. I just received them so I’m just trying them on, and obviously they need to be hemmed LOL.

Yes, I tried one of the versions. I think it was all leather. I am a 36 in sweaters but can go down to 34, 38 in coats. I like things fitted. This jacket was way too small in 36. I thought the shoulders looked grotesque on me. I would not have bought it even if they had my size.

I have this jacket and I love it. However it runs small. I typically take a size 36 in outerwear and I took a 38 in this particular jacket. It is very sleek.

I tried the 38 and it was very close fitting. I am usually a 38 and I could have gone with a 40. For reference, I like slightly loose-fitting clothes.
