Yes, I agree slimmer silhouette on the bottom. Ytd, I was wearing skinny midnight blue pants, long T top and a triangle cashmere and sneakers. Though wide leg dark-ish denim with boots could also pair well.
I’m in Northern CA (well wine country really, Napa/Sonoma) and it doesn’t get as cold as the PNW but I like the options of being able to layer thinner or thicker under this coat.
And my lifestyle here is laidback and casual like you and this piece is quite special with the lining and that closure but it is not screaming H IMHO!

I love it, my DH says it’s ‘butch’ 😭 and my BFF says it’s great. I suspect it could be a size smaller but thought I’d turn to this community for some opinions.

I think it would look great with some leather leggings. It looks so cozy.

Fantastic!!!!! Looks amazing on you!!!!! Love it! Very chic, and not “butch” at all HTH! Perfect fit!!!! (hugs emoji)

Edited: I have narrow shoulders and found there too be to much fabric in the back in my usual size. and therefore sized down. The sleeves actually fit me better in the smaller size (landing mid palm, just like you have it here)…. I find this coat also pairs well with a pencil midi skirt to balance off some of the boxiness at the top

Are you in the US? I’m interested in a few ss24 rtw pieces that I see online and wondering if it’s too early to ask my SA.. I read from other posts that they would hit the stores in March/April !

Yes I’m in the US. My SA referred to these pieces as part of the “cruise ‘24” collection, and they’re supposed to be on the floor today in that store. He just showed them to me a couple days early. So you can certainly ask your SA. The pieces arriving in March/April are from the runway.
