Wonderful choice!Thank you! The zippered one came home with me.

Being petite myself and preferring flats, I always go for the one that elongates my figure. I figure I’m not tall, but I can fake it in pictures

Love that cashmere top!! Is that from F/W? The zippered one is a good choice. Are they both the same size? The botton one looks so big.I tried on these two black jackets - the one on the left is a wool/cashmere blend knit in black/dk greyH reversible. The one on the right is the double face cashmere with leather buttons that I love and tried on before.
It was tough to choose - I have other DFCs but all with zippers so I like that this one has buttons. The zippered wool piece looks really nice with casual wear - a current wardrobe gap.
Also found this cute cashmere/silk top (same fabric/colourways as the oversize grandpa cardigan)

Yes it is F/W cashmere/silk blend. Also comes in a sort of etoupe and black. (Neither of those in my store/size)Love that cashmere top!! Is that from F/W? The zippered one is a good choice. Are they both the same size? The botton one looks so big.
Love the knit top on you as well - does it fit true to size?I tried on these two black jackets - the one on the left is a wool/cashmere blend knit in black/dk greyH reversible. The one on the right is the double face cashmere with leather buttons that I love and tried on before.

Yes pretty true to actual size This was the 42 which is my usual ’normal’ size.Love the knit top on you as well - does it fit true to size?
Those shorts look great after wearing all day! I need those.Thank you! Those are the H shorts in stretch stuff cotton. I love them - this was after a full day of work - a few creases but still comfortable. I’m tempted to get them in black if my store has my size as I wear shorts to work in summer.
And yes, the proportions on the wool were much more flattering. If it had buttons I wouldn’t have hesitated over the dfc over that.
Uh oh!!! With the dress it’s a different vibe. It’s cute too!! Does it have a different color? So you don’t have two black jackets that are similar? It’s cute too!!Yes it is F/W cashmere/silk blend. Also comes in a sort of etoupe and black. (Neither of those in my store/size)
The zipped jacket is 40. I think the cashmere is the same. (Can’t recall). But this previous mod shot of the cashmere is 38 which is a better fit ->

So this jacket also comes in a bright red-orange and cream. I already have a cream DFC jacket from a previous season. I stay away from black jackets in general but decided I need ONE. Definitely not two.Uh oh!!! With the dress it’s a different vibe. It’s cute too!! Does it have a different color? So you don’t have two black jackets that are similar? It’s cute too!!
The cashmere top, is that white button the only thing on the knit? Any design or logo on the back? What design is on the button? I love how low key it is. I might want to ask my sa for the etoupe one.
Oooo cream….that would be nice. How’s your cream one holding up? I really like the new sand color they have out. But I’m such a clutz!!So this jacket also comes in a bright red-orange and cream. Here is the top: nothing on the back - just the two exlibris buttons on the collar.
I usually wear a scarf around my neck, to protect from stray makeup etc. and it’s done pretty well. No weird colour transfers or winter road salt stains etc. But I am pretty careful when I wear it. I won’t wear a dark bag on my shoulder etc.Oooo cream….that would be nice. How’s your cream one holding up? I really like the new sand color they have out. But I’m such a clutz!!
Im partial to that blue sweater. I had tried it in the taupe and while I loved the button details, wasn’t too crazy about the color. I think you look a lot better in the light blue than the model. I love it on you, and am considering getting it. On her, I’m getting a slight Adrienne Vittadini circa 1980s vibe, IDKWSo this jacket also comes in a bright red-orange and cream. I already have a cream DFC jacket from a previous season. I would have loved to try the taupe but it wasn't available. But I also suspect it may not have been the most flattering shade on me either, unless worn with specific other coordinating itemslike a camel or cream coat. I did get the blue, as I love tops that are loose around the mid section, and while it's not a colour I usually wear (hello one hundred black tops) it will go with several items in my closet.Im partial to that blue sweater. Did you end up getting it?
Thank you!My vote is the zip jacket
Classic flattering and lux all at once !
Fits you perfectly
Lololol, yes, I think it's those taupe shorts on the model that are adding to that vibe. It's very fresh with cream/off white and could go with bambou/greens very nicely (not a colour I usually wear, though, nor you, I think).I think you look a lot better in the light blue than the model. what I want to know is why cant they put an inner pocket on their coats.....I think you look a lot better in the light blue than the model. I love it on you, and am considering getting it. On her, I’m getting a slight Adrienne Vittadini circa 1980s vibe, IDKW
one thing that ticks me off about H RTW, is for goodness sake, why can’t H put in a double zipper for their coats and jackets. The dress that I just bought has a double zip, which is totally unnecessary lol
