picked up this long cardigan in bleu de prusse today. I have always been sooo intimidated being a curvier lady looking at RTW but I've been pleasantly surprised. I've been working on myself and to be able to fit into more at H over time has been a huge confidence boost!
Hello Corgimom, thanks for posting this lovely cardigan. Since my store didn't order it and I would still like to purchase it (in off white), but it is only available in size 40 (usually a bit too big for me): Would you mind letting me know the size and the back width under the arms (from armpit to armpit), so that I can estimate it in size 40...?? That would be sooo helpful for me. I definitely only want to order it if it could fit.

I am not a good photographer at all but I picked up two more pieces. The first is a cashmere coat with medor detailing. I took a second picture to show the leather detailing as you would never know this piece would have it by looking at it on the website.

I also picked up another twillaine cardigan. But this one is quite different from what I have seen in that the sleeves are cut shorter. It was described to me as sleeveless, but it personally fits on me like a short sleeve. It is really unique and a great layering piece that I will be able to use almost year round I think since I am in a warmer climate.

Beautiful. Do you have a modeling shot of this twillaine cardigan

Admittedly, I'm not much of an accurate measure but it was around ~16 inches and mine is a 40. I'm not sure if that gets you what you need, I would highly encourage to just ask your SA if they have a similar piece you can try so that you can gauge if the fit might work, or just see if they can bring it in for you to try on. I don't believe your SA can fault you if it just clearly does not fit, is too large, etc. These cardigans and the fit can really be all over the place. In FW2021 alone I took cardigans in size 38, 40 & 42 because of the varying fit. Hope that helps...

I don't have a modeling shot but what you see on the website of these cardigans is very reflective! I think the largest thing to consider is your height. They can come across as a bit long on shorter women depending on the style and fit.

Dear Corgimom11, Thank you so much. It helps me a lot. The Cardi is no longer available in the EU and it wasn't ordered in my boutique, unfortunately not in the other ones I occasionally "stray" into either. And exactly as you say, I have unfortunately also had to notice the inconsistency in the sizes of the Cardis (even had to purchase 34 and I last wore that as a teenager ...). And this time the size 40 seems indeed rather small. So thanks again!

Online I had also been eyeing your beautiful Bleu de Prusse cardi, wanted it with the dress. The dress was available in a different colour - great from the front - from the back - on me hm - while SA and I were looking in the mirror and SA (honestly nicely) said, "Oh that shows off your beautiful waist" and my DH frantically reached for his mobile to take a photo from the back .... It stayed there ... So I did not pursue the cardi either (still too deep in shock). Sorry for the long "rant".

Beautiful. I love the twillaine long cardigans. When I tried one on last year, I felt like it was too long for me - I'm 5'1"/5'2". But maybe I just need more convincing that I can pull it off. Anyone else of my size wear them? Would love to see mod shots.
I am a smidge over 5’2 and have a few in Size 34. I live in LA and wear them quite often to throw over my Lululemon. I get quite a few compliments. I also was afraid they were too long, but they really look nice and move really well.

New acquisition from recent visit to store. They didn’t have in store so they had to order for it from store . I love the back collar detail !

I'm in love with this shirt but also could not get it in store. How do you feel about the sizing on this? I usually need a 38 for form-fitting tops and 36 for loose fitting ones, not sure what I should order for this..

I think hermes sizing is so tricky!! I am usually 34 or 36 .
this top is a 36. It isn’t super form fitting so I think either could have worked but would rather a little roomier fit . HTH!

Hi everyone, what do you use to remove the pilling on your cashmere sweaters? I tried the electric lint shaver but it made a small hole on my brand new sweater or maybe I just pressed too hard? And no matter how much I shave, it still keeps on shedding. Any advice? TIA.
