Hi everyone, longtime lurker on this thread, first time poster. I just had a quick question for you all… I’d bought a sweater for my husband last year, he’d worn it maybe a handful of times, after which he noticed the stitching had come undone in the armpit area. I went back to my local boutique to query about the problem, to which my SA said this shouldn’t have happened at all and that it needed to be sent to Paris. I just received an email from the Aftersales team requesting a payment of $220 to fix the sweater. This is nearly 10% of the price I paid, to fix a near new item. Does anyone have any experiences with similar situations? I’d understand if it were due to wear and tear but this seems to be a manufacturing error more than anything. Sorry for the long post… Any advice would be greatly appreciated:smile:

Speak with your store's managing director about the situation and pricing. They might be able to lend an assist for your case.

I had an issue with a pair of the clogs. I wore them 1 time (for about 30 minutes shopping) and the rubber part of the heal wore down to the wood. The wood became worn too. What I considered a manufacturing issue, Paris didn't and claimed it was wear & tear and that's how wooden shoes wear. Unfortunately, my MD wasn't able to move Paris' opinion.

Good luck!

Golly I am quite shocked it happened in 30mins! Are they the Carlottas, mine seems ok. I guess you could have them resoled at the cobblers. Sorry to hear about this.

+1 @Txoceangirl , but I would also have your SA explain the situation to the manager. I hope you can get this sorted!

I wanted this but was told that 1) it runs large and 2) all smaller sizes are sold out. I'm in the US.
Mod shot from ig..
I think she is about 170cm tall

Thank you both!! I asked my SA to hold one for me without trying it on (They said it's the only one left in the US), and now I'm a bit nervous hearing that it runs large (I'm on the petite side) :-s I love how it looks on bb10blue, but I think everything looks good on her lol
