^ thank you, i had the T-bar toggle at home since i finished a jewelry project for school a few months back, but i found it in a pack of ten at a local craft shop. My one has two small circles (in order to tie string to when making a beaded bracelet/necklace) i sewed tucked them on the inside and sewed them to the ribbon so it is secure and the clasps don't wriggle. (if that makes any sense) I'll be happy to make you one if you send me some ribbon on your wrist measurements. (I live in Australia so it might take a while in the mail.)

That's a lovely offer thank you. I will have a go myself and if I can't make it work, I may take you up on your kind offer. I have quite a few ribbons from Hermes, some of them are orange and some are brown and have different coloured font - I think these were sprayed with hermescence to be tied to your wrist - the font colour 'matched' the scent.

Hey that is a great idea naughtymanolo!! I love the look of that. Stacked bracelets are a trend at the moment. It might be really fun to make a bunch of them and wear them all at once!

Also, I don't know how to make flower ribbons, but I
can see that being a possibility too...I'm going to the fabric store this week, so I'll be a bit closer to my project. Not sure which one I'm going to pick.

Thanks for posting the bracelet. Its FABULOUS and a great creative use of the ribbons!

I haven't read the whole thread yet so this idea may be old news. I like the idea of using the ribbon to add flair to mundane clothes--e.g., take an old summer skirt--such a white gauzy fabric or silk or linen or thin cotton with tiers and sew ribbon along the edges of the tiers. Take a basic cardigan or jacket and sew ribbon on the closing edges or pocket edges. Instant mystery couture!

^^^ naw--you'd get caught for trademark violation. if its "fair use" then you can do it to your own stuff, but if you sell it....whooo hooo, you could get into a mess o' trouble!
