They're mostly women aged in their 30's. I'm not sure of how many these days as they recently employed and trained a fair few more. I believe it takes five years or so to work your way up through the ranks to become a "bag craftsperson" and you are an apprentice to a more experienced craftsperson for those years.
KK - I don't think they can be repaired.
