Hermes Price Increase 2012 ??

It looks like the US prices are soon to be on par with the Scandinavian. Unless of course my store adds 9% as well. I don´t think they will increase our prices with that much. We will see.

You and me both. I've got a croc kelly on order and am not thrilled.

At least crock kelly sounds great and exciting. mine is just a birkin in a regular leather and i have been waiting for 18 months. at this point, I seriously doubt they even did not accept my order at the beginning.

That is how they did the increases last year here in the USA, in fits and starts. SLGs, Silks, Bags etc not all together or all at once, but by the end of Feb the increases were in place. Agree with others, if the items we have ordered or wanted were available we would have more options, but sadly many of us have things on order or in process of being made. No leeway at all. Sigh.....

I consider myself very lucky as I was also waiting for a croc Kelly in the color I wanted and I got it just before Christmas. The price increase in Hong Kong took effect on Jan 9, and I was told by the SA that the average increase is 10% but for Birkins it is even higher. So I had saved US$2,600 by having that Kelly last month, it is an insane increas if you ask me.

Anyone knows the retail price for birkin gris tourterelle color in Togo leather and size 35? Most re-sellers priced it around $17k. Just wanted to get an idea if that's higher than retail.

Omg serious?? So it means now I have to set extra money aside...it was already hard enough saving for my first birkin which won't come in til later in the year...do they know we're not all millionaires and we work hard to save to buy their bags!!
