European price increase has already happened round 9th of January - aprox 9%-10%, depends on the product. The SA said, these prices are most probably to be fixed for whole 2012 {probably !!}. Anyway, here is Milan, the store is full all the time, no matter of price hikes

The store director is leaving for Paris soon. I suppose it's a buying trip? So I assume the new stuff should arrive in 2 or 3 weeks... Which puts it after the increase.

Some items/categories are already made, meaning if there's an inventory, it can be shipped to the US within days. The ones that need to be made as orders come in take longer and delivery time varies. I prefer not to say the store I shop at. The store director became a good friend through the years and I don't want to get her in trouble by telling me stuff. Thanks.

1/24 = Handbags and scarves
1/31 = Jewelry
2/7 = Fine Jewelry

C'est la vie. I am looking at finally getting a Cape Cod double tour before the increase.

When they go to podium (which I assume is the buying trip), it usually takes more like 2-3 months for those items to come in, not days or weeks.

So 9% for the all handbags huh? ouch!! That means that a regular leather, 35 cm Birkin will now be $10,355 + my 7% sales tax=$11,079!!!!!! This seriously sucks. Majorly sucks.....

I was looking at sterling silver jewelry so maybe he meant only that but I'm not sure.
