I believe it is throughout the US. A friend tried to buy a 2nd B and when the SA looked up her name on their computer, it had her history and she was told she couldn't buy another one.

Re the one B or K per 6 month policy - is this per store, or throughout the US? I think the former, but wasnt sure.
If you dont buy one in the first half of the year, can you buy 2 the second half?

I believe it's 1 per 6 months per country. In France, it's 1 per year per passport.

My SA told me that they are required to check the customer's past 6 months history country wide before selling them any kelly or birkin. So if you buy a K/B in the US for the past 6 months, you can get another one until 6 months later.

^^I agree. But in France, it seems to operate on calendar year.

I was told calendar year in the US too. I bought a K in March and if I waited until July, then I could buy another. Craziness

I know that charms are not part of the SLGs that are included in the no transfer policy. I guess it depends on how 'small' the item is. Just too weird !!

Well I was going to but she didn't give me a chance, just wanted to know if I was local first! I think they must have caller id!!
I'm so turned off Hermes now bc all their games, I hope the sales drop and people will buy other brands and people stop calling, then they will see how they treat customers. I will take my business else where they appreciate my $$!

According to my SA, they want to swipe your credit card in person. Even for GIFT CARDS now.
In person or no transaction, at least for CDCs, KDs, bags and gift cards.
But that is a good point, maybe a family member could pick it up, but seems doubtful.

^^^This. When enforced, the new rules are that the buyer must be there in person with their credit card. No payment by phone for any leather goods, even with a proxy at the store. Certainly a family member could go into the store and buy something for you with their card, and you could reimburse them! But that would be the only method, as I understand it. Unless H changes or relaxes the rules. Which they probably will, given some time.
