Hi, I was told that H no longer accepts phone or mail orders/purchases. But I'm wondering if I purchase and pay for a bag in person in one store (say Paris), will the Paris store ship it to another store for me just so I don't have to carry it on my trip and I of course also pay all shipping costs? Thanks!
You can pay for the bag in person at the store and ship it home.
I am not sure about shipping to another store as they don't like to hold merchandise any longer for customers.
This new policy is annoying me. I have finally saved up enough for a Kelly, unfortunately there's no H store near by at my parent's area. Since I'm a new customer I don't have any pre-established relationship with any SA. What will happen to me? Must I fly / drive to another state just to buy an H bag? /end ranting.
My husband is going on a business trip and will go to H for me here in the US. My question is, can he use my gift card? Used to be yes, but with all these new rules, who knows? Anyone?

The rule has always been no bags sold over the phone and shipped...but up until now if you became a regular customer, they would ship bags to you. I am not surprised by the "no shipping" rule. H has become more strict with leathers across the board, even CDCs, KDs, etc.
You have to be there in person now to pay for the H item.
I asked my SA for you, and she said to call the store beforehand to authorize, just to be sure he can use it.
Sigh.. I will visit the H store in DC area and see what I can get. BTW, do you know if I can order Garden Party over the phone since it is available online? I didn't see the all leather option on their website.
If it's leather they definitely won't, I can't remember if they ship non leather bags though.
