Ladies
I was on the Paris sale :
scarves from SS 2011 Collection
brides de gala en finesse (all colors)
reve de corail ...
marcellina ...
art du temari
I think I have seen all the scarves of the collection (some on every colors)

Also many mousselines
giant dd

GM
a few but I don't know the name with strong colors (yelow black red)
and some art du temari (purple)

I think it was a interesting sale

The problem was on the persons who were there ...

speaking with some SA they told me than the day before 2 women was fighting at the scarves corner and on the mornig also

I saw myself a group ou women trying to pass in front of me and my friend while we were on the scarf corner queue - one ask and say yes, so 5 or 6 try to go with her just because they were on the same group

some other while my friend was trying a scarf tried to take it and asking how much it was by trying to catch the tag while it was on her neck :( unbelievable

and also saw an other one being completely red and on "transe" while we was on the carrés corners and ready to cry when the poor SA was telling her that she has no more the scarf she wanted

A "nice place" to see that money is nothing without education !

omg !!!

I go every year and I never saw something like that
speaking with SAs - they have exactly the same impression

I have never been and I find the behavior of grown women and men classless, tacky and uneducated fuelled by greed. Very ugly. I lack words to be honest. Shocking!

Luckily not everyone who goes to the sales shows this type of behavior, but I know what you mean. I've seen it myself when I went to the sales a few years ago. Looked like a battlefield :-).
Anyway, I just had a feeling that the Paperoles shawls would be available at the sales, so I asked a personal shopper to have a look for me. I would be over the moon with a Vert Paperoles from the sale. I was really crossing my fingers for one. I am not sure, but I don't think she found a Vert one for me. I guess most of them went to resellers who will list them on Ebay later for two times retail or more :nogood:. Too bad, because if I could have one, I would admire it, wear it and love it a lot :hbeat:.

When I was at the sale a few years ago, they had some grey Ex Libris shawls, a holy grail for many. I could have bought them all and sell them on Ebay to make a good profit. But that would mean that other people wouldn't have the chance to buy this shawl anymore at such a great price, because I would have them all. I didn't do it, because it felt very wrong to me to take them all just for making a profit. I don't have anything against making a good profit, but on a sale like this, I could never go with the intention to grab as much as possible just to sell everything for a profit later. Maybe that's just me, but this is how I think about it. JMHO ;).

You are always so sweet and it is very unfortunate that there are too many people out there who are driven by greed and jealousy.:hugs:

You know what, as I frequent follower of many eBay sites (US and Europe), I feel the same way. I have found countless of good deals and all kinds of grails (say, Turandot, Cave Felem). I could have flipped scarves like a pro (and like many pseudo-collectors on eBay), but I didn't do that. Not trying to be a hypocrite or being a nice lady, I just believe in my H hunting luck. If I try to cash out my luck or brag out loud about it, it will be gone, and my grail list still needs to be exhausted. So, just trust that things you don't buy will go to a good home. It feels much better that way :hugs:.

I believe your kindness and good character will pay off in the end, Chanel, and you will find your Paperoles!:hugs:
