the first one is still available for 7500 or so. do birkins- even the 50s or travel ones- have fabric lining? because the second two say they do and the first one says leather...

H...I was in Boston Hermes this past weekend and they had an all leather 50cm Travel Birkin that was lined with leather inside also! Beautiful Birken piece. I'm sure the residents experts here could speak to different linings a bit better than I who is a sheer Hermes novice. :smile1:

^ I'm are really starting to doubt the authenticity now, the kelly is called a birkin, and it has the messenger rings, when a 50 kelly doesn't have a messenger strap since its so large? Did H just decide to keep the designs uniform for no logical reason?

The retail price of some of these items is really off too.. :confused1: I'd imagine they'd put down a higher price as reatial price to make the saving seem like more, but for some reason the price they put as retail is often lower...?

I have overheard S.A.s at Hermes talking to other customers saying "we don't give them stock" and I thought I read somewhere else that another TPFer heard them say "you don't think they get them from US, do you?"

Bluefly states they buy from resellers. Its why, from time to time, they get caught selling an unworthy bag. I ran a search and came up with the same questions here...

People have had issues with Bluefly and authenticity in the past. I am not sure what the results were. Bluefly does have a return policy, but I would take a "buyer beware" approach when it comes to purchasing H bags on Bluefly, especially bags like Birkins and Kellys. Just my opinion.

The past issue (discussed in other forums) was that about two years ago, bluefly had customers doing "bait and switch" on Chloe and bbags. They now have a tag on the handle of their bags which must remain on if you want to return the bag. Since then, I haven't heard of any problems (not that I'm an expert!). :shrugs:

Bluefly was selling Balenciaga fakes much more recently than two years ago. They were selling fake B-Bags just last year and refused to do anything about when called out about this issue. It was not a bait-and-switch by customers...rather, their buyer obviously thought he/she had found a great "wholesaler" and scored large. The Balenciagas they have on there now seem to be authentic but I would stay far, far away based on their track record.

ReneH, I just bought the larger black Constance with an additional 10% off coupon!!! I will see what it looks like, and if it has issues, I will return it. So far I have never had a probem with bluefly. I bought a TPM Garden Party from them that was perfect.
