Hermes on Bluefly

I've only purchased one Hermes item from Bluefly - a pair of brown suede boots about a year ago. Some of the markings on the boots didn't match my other boutique-purchased shoes, and they had slight scuffing on the inside heels, so I sent them back.

Bluefly was more than accommodating with the return - the process was very simple, as I recall.

I don't know what to think of their current H inventory - a lot of it looks good from their pictures. But for me personally, I've decided that from now on I'll just go to the H boutique or purchase from a trusted reseller.

They have to be fake. I dunno. I was told by a very very informed SA to beware of Bluefly.

Whatever, real or fake, not my call this time since I didn't buy anything from Bluefly. When I did twice it was authentic. However, I find my SA at Hermes not be the most reliable source. As I walk out the door and go back in and she's showing the bag to an eBay seller that I had asked for and claimed it never came in. SA are not your "friend". They have sellers on eBay to supply first.
I avoid eBay for the following: a seller listed above as reputable emailed me that "she bought" a Hermes bag and there was no stamp on it. First, I doubt she bought it retail. Why ask me, take it back to Hermes where she purchased it. I would speculate that she bought it from someone, not Hermes. I will not purchase on eBay any longer because no seller is purchasing all their Hermes retail but from other sources that are a "shot in the dark".

My Constance is coming in tomorrow, I will let you know, real or fake. I already own two Constance bags purchased from H boutqiues so I will compare them.

In the meantime, I think the only people who should post that Bluefly items are fakes are the individuals that experienced this personally. Let's hear from the real "victims" instead of the friend of a friend. I did receive a PM from a member who did have a fake watch which she was able to return. So far, that has been it for fake Hermes. Used or shopworn items are another issue and are certainly something that can happen with a site like BF and in an instance like that, if you feel that you have paid too much or don't want it, then you return it.

I love the Constance, have two of them in Ostrich bought them from Hermes Rodeo Dr. a few years ago by phone (not at the same time). I bought a pair Herme's boots last year from Bluefly, wrong size, easily returned.

Anyone that bought an H bag get theirs yet? What was the result?

My daughter-in-law just left with her purchases (2 scarves and a lovely 32cm Plume) for me to check. All three were authentic and the Plume which is listed right now in a 28cm on eBay from a trusted seller is magnificent. The scarves are BNIB. All 3 items also came in Hermes boxes. This never happened to me with scarves from Bluefly. The Plume even came with a raincoat, rare from even an eBay seller the past few years.

I've bought several items from Bluefly, including a Dior bag and a pair of Ralph Lauren boots that I was able to return without hassle. I loved and would have kept both, but they were too small for my needs  Bluefly has great customer service, and if by some chance you did receive a fake bag (and the H bags look real IMO) I'm sure they'd take it back.

I'm still drooling over that Thalassa box Plume!

I received my black box Constance with Palladium today and...it is perfectly authentic and came with plastic on the hardware and orange keeper bag. Did not have one scratch on it which is pretty darn good considering that box bags from the boutique can have marks from handling. The letter stamping was an "I" in the gusset along with the craftsman mark. All in all, a beautiful bag! This is the size that is a 1/2 wider. What that does is give you a divider so you can put in much more and use the bag daytime if you wish. Overall, it doesn't make the bag that much bigger IMO because theoverall dimensions stay essentially the same.

Congrats, Gracekelly!! Sounds like a stunning bag; I like that style of Constance too. (Then again, I like all Constance bags and probably would have bought yours if you hadn't beaten me to it! LOL)
I got my Bluefly item today too (not a bag) and it's absolutely authentic, perfect, and came in the orange box as it should have.

Great we all scored! What did you get?

This style is just like your snakeskin. It is so much more practical as you can get so much more in it.
