Does anyone know how hard it is to get a Picotin in NYC? Is it similar to trying to get a B or a K where you have to have bought things before and be offered one by an SA?

I am new to Hermes, and don't have an SA but have bought a wallet and scarf at the Madison Ave store. I am dying for a Picotin 22 with GHW in black, navy or any dark blue or a tan/sesame color! But am a bit nervous/intimidated to try and get one! Any tips would be appreciated!

Just pop in the store.. you never know what will come your way..
There is no need to feel nervous or intimidated.. be yourself & enjoy the time in the store

Anyone know if you can just walk-in to Meatpacking? I reached out to my SA and even tried to schedule an appt via website and they haven’t responded/confirmed. I texted my SA last week and followed up this week…radio silence. It normally takes a few days for a response but over a week is kind of weird.

Madison is walk-in now so there's a good chance you can walk into Meatpacking?

Yes, the store is open for walk-ins but you may need to wait for an SA to become available to help you. (I was at the store a week back and saw people walk in.) Have you tried calling the store and asking? Your SA may be out or on vacation, and I believe they are not able to bring their phones outside the store, hence the late reply.

Thank you! He was actually there and was on vacation!

As small time and indecisive buyer (of mostly scarves), I have not had any bad experiences or felt I was the victim of snobbery at any of the three locations, though I find the Madison SAs more harried because of the crowds. I have had two great SAs at Wall Street over the years who were both transferred to Madison, I think because of their excellent customer service.

Madison has the broadest selection but is usually very very busy. Wall Street has a limited selection of items but is always nice and quiet.
Thanks! would you mind refer the name of the SAs? Thanks so much!

Question for MP shoppers. How long did it take to get offered a quota bag? I’ve been shopping for over a year and have yet to be really offered anything. I told my SA my wish list awhile ago but do you think it’s worth mentioning again? I feel like my relationship with my SA is strictly business even though I try to text and ask how things are etc. I’ve also asked for C18 and have only been offered bright colors once and that was 3 months ago…nothing since. How do I get offered the bags I want? Do I have to be more aggressive?

what kind of bags are you asking for? Is it in a very sought After size or color?

My SA and I have a very business like relationship but he always gets me what I want. Then again, I have only been asking for neutrals so not really that rare

At least she offered you C18s. Did you clearly state what you like to her? Have you tried e-mailing her or texting her about it? Sometimes when you just say it, she might not remember.
