I stopped going to boutiques since the pandemic and now I'm planning to re-start my H journey with a new SA.
My question is, is the Madison boutique better than the Meatpacking to start a new SA relationship? Also which is better in terms of item stocks and easier availability of B K?
Depends on what vibe your looking for and also how patient you can be for inventory. In my experience MP is a more youthful fun vibe, the store is also set up that way with more bright airy feel. All the SA’s in MP seem very friendly and cheery, but they don’t get as much inventory or as quickly as Madison. Madison can be a bit more old school and your experience is definitely dependent on your SA. I also found the MP SA I worked with to be less organized than my Madison SA. Since Madison is a flagship you will get wishlist items a bit faster and they usually get hard to get items first like Madison has already had Pegasus rodeo and is expecting the other color ways within the next two weeks. But I think location is secondary to where you will find an SA you truly click with.

thanks for the reply. Can I just walk-in inside and build a relationship with any SA regardless which section they were assigned? Or is it a better chance if I look specifically for an SA assigned in the leather goods section? Sorry, I feel like I'm starting over again after I stopped buying from H since the pandemic and my old SA has moved in a different state. I don't know if some rules have changed.

They are taking walk ins at the moment and to my knowledge the SA’s cross depts except for home. But I’d call ahead and let them know you’d like an appt with a leather Sa and your open to recommendations since your last SA moved, maybe mention your last sa and say your looking for someone with the same vibe if you got along really well or even if you kept in contact get his or her recommendation on who you should work with

Also, I’d say if you were to walk in, get a feel for each sa before approaching one you feel most comfortable with or felt was the most friendly. I will say going in the mornings on weekdays is best. It’s less crazy and the SA’s have time to spend with you

Hi, did you get a good experience in the Meatpacking? Are they accepting walk-ins there now? My go-to boutique is in Madison but I stopped going since the pandemic and I'm planning to restart my H journey with a new SA or a new boutique.
Yeah it was great! I’ve never been to another H NYC boutique so I can’t really compare. I like my SA and will keep shopping there. When I went in late May i needed an appointment but not sure if anything has changed

They are taking walk ins now. They have a line-up section that is roped off outside and, depending on the day and time, there may or may not be a wait. They also post the appointment QR code on the door.

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting, I am visiting New York in a few weeks for work and wanted to stop by Hermes. Am looking for the Chypre sandal and a few other goodies. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good SA + favourite location? Please PM me if so! I typically shop in the Toronto store, I know the stock in NY Is much better so I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks so much!

On weekends, do they offer appointments at Madison/Meatpacking...or is it all walk-in now? I'll be in the city next month, and I just want to window shop (and possible pick up something small)....so I don't want to take up an appointment slot. At the same time, I don't want to wait forever in the "walk-in" line since I'll be on a tight schedule.

Id call ahead to both locations to see if they have your size in stock. That style is super popular and has been out of stock for a while at the Madison location

Hi there,

Could anyone recommend a good responsible SA in meatpacking? I don't mind spending reasonable money and i'm very decisive. Won't be wasting SA's time. just hoping to find a SA to work together longer term.
